hihi anon thanks for the kind words I do have weird headcanons for him with a girlfriend but I never thought about posting them so here they are for you....
I like to think that Dex would be a weirdo with his girlfriend, and not just about the aspects of him that make him a bad boyfriend (because I also do believe he would be terrible in a relationship) so the next headcanons are peculiar random things he'd do putting the toxicity aside.
He would say weird things to her out of nowhere with a straight face, just because he realized he has a girlfriend and she allows him to say everything that comes to his mind. When they're watching tv, laying in bed, just doing random stuff I feel like he would stare at her for way too long and then say shit like “I'd let you skin me alive”, then she'd just smile at him because she's used to his odd bullshit.

He just loves watching her sleep, with no thoughts on his head, he'd just stare at her all night, almost not blinking because he'd feel like he'll miss the tiniest twitch of her mouth as she's asleep, not even himself can understand why he actually does that but he feels a very warm feeling as he stares at her in such vulnerable state.

This is very specific but I like it for him.
