I recently got set up on StartPlaying, a website where players can connect with professional dungeon masters and start playing the game!

I have a couple campaigns set up, but two in particular that I just need a couple more players for!

I've been playing D&D for a long time, and have been running games for almost two decades now. Previous players have reviewed me on StartPlaying already, and have all given me five star reviews!

Hello, budding adventurers! I am Klary/Rio, Novice Dungeon Master extraordinaire. So if you're a novice player looking for a group (or an experienced player who doesn't mind a bumbling dm)  please reply or message me about which campaign you'd be interested in playing. Depending on how many people seem interested in what idea I'll be moving forward with one (or more) campaign idea.

1. Action Figures- Some kids grow out of playing with toys. Jeremy did not. Much to his parents' chagrin. Team up with other toys, inanimate objects, etc. to escape the house unscathed.

2. Shades of Dawn- Most people of this world are born without a shadow. Those who are considered cursed. But cursed by what?

3.  This is a real dumb one. I rewatched Dimension 20’s the Seven and there was a joke about the Maiden’s horses being their own adventuring party. And it made me think it’d be cool to have a campaign about familiars and animal companions! It’d be set in the world of Fantasy High and you could play known companions like Boggy or Cinnamon or something completely your own. You can’t play Candyheart though that’s all me.

I'm creating a lovely new campaign using the kids on brooms system! I've dmed too many dnd 5e campaigns and I wanted something new!

So now I'm here to ask you if you would like to join me! Can you figure out whats going on with the Obsura academy before it opens its doors again after 15 years?

The pcs are future teachers at a once open but now shut down and infamous magical school.

The Obsura academy. Focusing on harnessing and nurturing the powers young witches hold. Incorporating magic into every aspect of the school and its teachings. Including math classes.

Originally it was an old rundown and abandoned school that caught entirely on fire by some force, and was hit by 12 floods  all on the same day. Too many students using spells to stop the fire at the same time.

So the original was closed. Sadly.

But now! Through the summer Headmaster Hummel has decided to bring it back and get it refurbished and ready for next school year! The pcs are send to look at it, make sure things are going well, make sure their classrooms and other areas are being taken care of.

Making sure it is all up to code on disability access and safe comfortable places for students.

All of thoes sorts.

Things have been going well, steady progress is being made on repairing and fixing up the school, But they notice people simply going missing?

A worker or two per few days.

And they only have a week untill the school opens its doors.

Whether or not they find out whats becoming of the missing people.

Every player character will get the opportunity to create a teacher character to teach any class they desire! Whether that be a magic class or a basic knowledge class that may have magic infused in it!

Entirely up to you to decide!

The magical world this is based in combines magic that people who pratice witchcraft in real life, and fantasy magic.

What is masks I’m very curious

!!! thank you for asking!!!! you’ll have to excuse me if I ramble I really like this game and I have a lot of thoughts

Masks is an alternate tabletop RPG system made by Magpie Games based on Apocalypse world. It’s far simpler than 1-5e (your classic dnd fantasy adventure) and much, much easier to learn, as well as being a really good way to start getting in to RPGs!! 

Instead of being a fantasy quest about elves and knights and warlocks, Masks is a much more homebrew game. It’s a sci-fi drama about teenage superheroes in a world where being “super” is an average part of life. No one bats an eye if you say you were late for class because there was a t-rex downtown.

It’s also a lot more character focused instead of being about the world or the lore, as most stories should be in my opinion. You don’t need to memorize 300 spells, all you have to do is get into character. The game is literally structured around the fact that these are a bunch of confused teenagers who don’t know what they’re doing and are just trying to do their best balancing homework and home life with supervillains and alien menaces.

I can explain a lot more with the mechanics and stuff if anyone wants to play and I am 100% okay with people joining who aren’t experienced with RPGs!! This is a good game to learn with and I’d love to teach you!!!
