listen, i’m not going to write her YET but behold i have figured the sci-corps oc out:
junior lieutenant mirax (mira) kuroon of bakura, a chemist with the imperial science bureau (also known as sci-corps), naval division. born only a few years prior to the clone wars, most of her childhood was spent during the turmoil of and post the clone wars, mira’s ability with science, in particular engineering, opened doors that her background typically wouldn’t, likely being the first in her family to attend university (she wouldn’t know). along with an additional boost from a scholarship from the imperial science bureau, she was able to complete her studies and, as agreed, joined the imperial navy as a chemist. (it was heavily implied she would... fit better with that department and would be more likely to receive the scholarship if she made chemistry her primary focus) she still holds a dual degree however, and, in the future, would, amongst other things, like to wield both in perhaps attempting to improve personnel armor or perhaps sublight engine fuel systems... there’s many an idea swirling around in her head.
