mom’s coming up a day early to prepare to head out with arin on saturday, because there’s supposed to be a storm on friday. when she texted us this, arin took a moment to stare at the photos of nana’s ring she sent us a while ago (it’s been set aside for them, and another of nana’s rings is set aside for my stepbrother’s fiancee.)

also I feel like they’ve replaced the carpet in the hallways of this building recently but they sent out an email that they’re replacing all the carpet with vinyl. which will at least be easier to wheel on. am I just misremembering? was it a previous apartment complex?
