i think we need to have a conversation about how well arvid’s been doing. i feel like the commentators and fans of f1 in general haven’t bern giving him the due credit. he’s managed to consistently be in the top 10, he’s had multiple points finishes and he’s clearly outperforming his car. all at the age of 18! he’s so insanely talented and i can’t wait to see how he grows as a driver.

The Max/Red Bull situation isn’t even about loyalty anymore. Max has proven how loyal he is, there is nothing left for him to do.

It’s about safety. It’s about knowing that the family he regularly has to leave to do this job will see him again. It’s about staying alive.

And as weird as this sounds, that is not a guarantee at Red Bull any more. How are you supposed to be safe when the team won’t listen to you? When they send you out to race with a genuinely dangerous setup? When they refuse to give your race engineer all the important details?

He’s driving a metal contraption at over 200 mph, he literally has to be able to trust them fully.
