Me: My least favorite part in the Reverse Steve episodes was that the villains were controlling the story. I wish Rainbow Quest gave the heroes more chances to be proactive and make decisions that affect the story.

Sabre and Rainbow: *use their brief moment of bliss after Galaxy’s destruction to wait around and procrastinate with the Orange Steves, giving the Darkness plenty of time to infect the Middle World*

Me: No. Not like that. *adds this episode into evidence that Sabre and Rainbow aren’t good heroes*

Sorry for being mean, but this episode just did not vibe for me.

Though, I felt sad to see the Middle World ruined and Indigo Steve infected by the Darkness thought :c Especially when you know Indigo Steve has been so helpful and put up a good fight, but he eventually fell....

Also, I was wondering if Rainbow had the powers of an Indigo Steve or if he was a generically strong Steve...that would had been very useful to know in the Reverse arc.

Seems like the Darkness really likes targeting the Middle World because it gives you access to both the Overworld and the World Beyond. Makes me wonder why the series puts so much emphasis on the Yellow Kingdom being so important that heroes can’t afford to lose it, but hasn’t said much about how important the Middle World is to the Darkness’ plans.
