Undertale 10th anniversary concert...
Holy. It was SO GOOD! ASGORE takes the cake for best rendition by miles (hence why it was the act 1 closer) and it had a cool guitar solo! Holy peak.
The structure of the concert made me think they weren't gonna play Bonetrousle or Death by Glamor. Man was I glad to be wrong. DBH was probably the best act 2 song.
Fallen down got me a little emotional I won't lie...
Though they didn't play battle against a true hero..... it's like the only main song they didn't play, and it's my favourite! Like the main reason I was hyped for the concert. And they played a snippet of the main melody at the end of megalovania.... never been so blue-balled in my life... very disappointed by that. I listened to the 5th anniversary version of it though, very good.
It's called the Determination concert and you didn't play the song that is literally the embodiment of determination :(
But besides that, very good! I'd give it a 9/10, definitely won't be forgetting about this anytime soon. Wish there was more merch to buy though 👀
Nothing But Thieves | Impossible (Orchestal Version - Live at Abbey Road)
k but a concept: you're a pianist and one day you get into an orchestra where you meet a beautiful violinist which you keep falling for day by day, until the two of you get together. you hold concerts in your own small café every friday evening, old and new customers just enjoying the lovely music and your happiness bringing light into their hearts as well. the two of you get married after a few years and the wedding is in that same café with all of the friendly locals there, you and your beautiful wife dance viennese waltz as your first dance and you just look into her eyes and see them magically sparkling while looking at the love of her life. as the event is coming to its end, you play the piece the orchestra played first after you joined and you just take a moment to appreciate everything that's happening and everything that's about to happen in your newly married life. in the end, the two of you are just in each other's arms, admiring the precious feeling of realising that your lives have become one through such a special bond and all of your worries are carried away by the sweet nothings whispered into your ear and engraved into your memory.
oh god i'm crying i'm so gay i can't MY HEART CAN'T
Music Commissions
I need money. I write music a lot. So the logical conclusion is that I start doing commissions for people.
I can write for practically any thpe of ensemble, but I have a focus on classical and contemporary wind and string ensembles, as well as percussion ensembles. I can also write for small chamber groups.
I do not have any prices set up, but I plan on doing something like $10 per 32 measures per instrument.
If you are interested, you can contact me here on tumblr or at [email protected] until I set up a separate email adress for music commissions.
What do you need to know and do to be a music teacher?
Fun fact!
One of the worst times to mention how easy it is for you to do something is when you know the person you're talking to about it is struggling with it or think's it's challenging. It's not cool to be all like "Haha yeah I could do that in my sleep with my hands in a paper shredder" when the person attempting to do said thing is clearly not able to. They're trying their best. You're not being constructive, and are, in fact, being the opposite of helpful. Especially if it's something that they do eventually want to improve at. If they want to get better, but only hear about your success, they're not going to be happy with it. Belittling the difficulty of something is not okay. "That's not even that hard" is not respectful. Not cool, man. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
