With this fun and indulgent recipe for chocolate-covered star Oreos, you can take your classic Oreo cookies to the next level. The rich chocolate coating and whimsical gold star decorations make these treats ideal for special occasions or whenever you're in the mood for something delicious.
Ingredients: 1 package of Oreo cookies. 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Edible gold stars for decoration.
Instructions: Put the coconut oil and chocolate chips in a bowl that can go in the microwave. In 20-second bursts, stir the chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Each Oreo cookie should be dipped all the way into the melted chocolate. Place the Oreos covered in chocolate on a tray lined with parchment paper. To make a star pattern, sprinkle edible gold stars on top of each Oreo while the chocolate is still wet. Put the tray in the fridge for about 15 to 20 minutes to let the chocolate set. As soon as the chocolate is hard, carefully take the Oreos off the tray and serve.
