SIX WEEK CALL
Well, a fraction more than 6 weeks, but I want to make sure you’re all aware!
The deadline for the first draft for a story to be included in the Summer Heat anthology is 1 May. If you are interested in participating, please check out the signup form for more information and to express your interest. Filling in the form is not a commitment. It just gives me your email address so that I can keep you advised of proceedings. I won’t be using it for any other purpose and you can tell me to take your name off the list at any time.
Please share this around to your favourite writers and encourage them to have a go. You can ask any of the authors who participated in the Red Hots and Stocking Stuffers anthologies if they think it was a worthwhile endeavour; while this won’t make you rich you should at least make back your buy-in, and one of the participants called it ‘a master class in self-publishing’. I’m not sure that I’d go that far, but I’ve learned a hell of a lot about self-publishing and building a fanbase in the last year and I’m willing to share that information for nothing more than your effort to join in.
Get writing; you’ve got until May 1 to get your first draft completed!
