Oscar: I see myself as the Alpha of my family
Race whispering to Albert: I’m sorry did he just say what I think he just said?
Albert: he did
Race: I don’t trust him
Race: I can’t trust a person who actually says shit like that out loud and means it

Crutchie: Yeah, it’s pretty great. Not much could ruin today.
*Oscar and Morris appearing out of the shadows*
Crutchie: Oh shoot. I forgot saying that summons them.
Oscar: What do you mean 'we can be friends'? We have nothing in common!
Jack: I'm sure we have something in common.
Oscar: How? I hate you!
Jack: See! Something in common! I hate me too!
Rewatching 92sies 3
So the Delancey brothers. I feel like they are so much more of the villains in 92sies than in livesies. They are better more developed villains (which is obviously easier to do in a movie than in a live musical). But they are more menacing and worse in a way if that makes sense
And the brotherly love amongst these boys in this movie is everything. And Christian Bale is acting his ass off......he rocks in this as Jack. I also think it’s important that he’s lying about his identity. This is an interesting/important character flaw/development/plot point that makes this movie amazing. The fact that his nickname is cowboy is also interesting character development/details that I appreciate about 92sies Jack Kelly.
Sarah is also an underappreciated character. Her role wasn’t as fully developed as it should have been in this film (i’ve actually seen footage where she had more of a part to play in the strike but they cut it out). She’s got great character potential and she’s got a mind of her own and speaks for herself. Gotta love her.
Everyone hates on Sante Fe. Yeah, Christian Bale isn’t the best singer, but what he lacks in tone he makes up for in heart. And he STEALS A HORSE. Case closed.
all my thoughts watching 1992 Newsies for the first time in 4 years
Buckle your seatbelts this is a lot longer than I intended
Newsies Story: Closing Night Special
I just want to say something about my amazing experience in Newsies
I have had such a beautiful experience. I have dreamed of playing Les since I was actually 9. I listened to the OBC Recording for hours on ends while doing homework in 4th grade. I watched the Netflix recording dozens of times. I could quote almost half the show and knew all the songs almost word for word. Once I turned 13, I lost all hope of playing Les. The morning I found out I was cast, I cried from happiness. I have made some amazing friendships. Davey and I will always have a special bond. Family is forever. I have built amazing relationships and strengthened so many more. I learned to tap dance. I never in my life thought I would be able to tap dance, but today I got an award for it. I never thought I would sing a four part harmony with three of the most talented people in my theater, but I did.
One of the most amazing feelings in the world was the feeling when I took my final bow. Alone. All those people cheering for me was so overwhelming and such a crazy experience. I had people I never met tell me that I was hilarious and so good. It was surreal. It was so freaking surreal. I was so lucky to play such a large role.
The whole production was amazing. The cast, the adults, the crew. They were all amazing and so hard working and talented and supportive. I love them all and it was so hard today to say goodbye to all the Seniors that I have known for three years.
Overall it was such an amazing experience and by far my favorite show (out of 29, so that's saying something). I love all of my fellow Newsies.💜 Sorry for the rant, I fell face first into Post Show Depression.
Me: oh don’t do it
Me: oh my gahd
Since I keep posting Vines with Newies here
