This was a bad idea. A very bad idea. The ballroom was filled with fancy people in fancy dresses. Harry had always thought being here would bring him some fun. It was Prince Malfoy's 20th birthday after all, his supposed enemy.Â
But seeing him like this, oscillating from girl to girl, infuriated him. Why was he doing this? Why was he dancing with only girls? Draco Malfoy didn’t like girls. Even Harry knew that!
The music was loud, the violins and piano increasing while people were twirling around the dancefloor in time with the rhythm.
Harry's heart beated in hate each time he saw a girl giggling like a goose when Draco put his hand on her waist. Though the hate quickly changed to delight when he saw Draco's disgusted frown hidden behind their backs.Â
Time to shine…Â
Harry walked toward the prince, his prince, ready to put things into place. Ready to break the act Draco Malfoy was trying to play.Â
My enemy is better than that. How could he face those people, those people that don't know who he really is?Â
King Lucius got up as soon as he saw Harry, who was smirking at him and winked when he pushed a girl away on the dancefloor. The music grew louder as gasps and whispers filled the room.Â
Draco stopped dancing when people around him suddenly stopped too, letting Prince Harry walk through. Harry huffed and took Draco's hand at the same time the beat of the music dropped. It was only when Harry twirled Draco around the room that the upbeat melody started again.Â
"What are you doing?" Draco hissed, though he kept dancing.Â
"Showing them who you truly are, my little Prince."Â
