Carbon-free ferrocene alternative opens up new possibilities for future materials

About 75 years ago, scientists accidentally synthesized a compound called ferrocene in which the iron (Fe) atom is sandwiched between two C5H5 rings—(C5H5)Fe(C5H5). This compound opened up a new era in transition metal chemistry, and became an important reagent in catalysis, materials, biology, and medicine. For a long time, researchers have tried to create a version of this sandwich that contains no carbon at all, using boron instead—achieving this would prove that these complex structures are not limited to carbon-based chemistry. In a new study published in Science, researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have successfully created a carbon-free boron alternative to ferrocene for the first time.

Uses any/all since we really don’t know his gender.

A strange compound catto who’s mixture is 4 Oxygen and an Osmium. No one knows who she really is, she’s mostly a quiet person and whenever they talk, her voice always changes each time, he really could be anybody but we may never know !! Their personality is quite unknown, as it always changes, albeit to her mysterious identity.

Also, she can fly too, we don’t really know why. He’s somewhat powerful, but not powerful enough.

She has a goal, some kind of goal we don’t know about.

His appearance is like what’d you expect with all the other Cattos, except the face isn’t present and instead has the.. thing, she also has a diamond-like tail.

what inspired for you to make this?: oh idk the thought of “the roaring catto” went in my head for a few days and then i decided to act upon it and kablamo

what have you been listening to?: well great question thought in my head!! ive been listening to Surfing on the Sine Wave by Fearofdark (i think thats what its called) then i’ve been listening to Knock You Down!! (Rhythm Ver.) by Toby Radiation Fox while writing this post right now!
