((EDIT: Inktale and Ink Sans are already a thing and I didn’t realize! I’ve corrected the information in this post to reflect this)) I don’t do a lot of fanart because I don’t feel like I ever really capture how the character is supposed to look, but this idea was too fun to pass up.
Inktale is already an au for Undertale, so I’m not 100% sure what I’d call this, but I’ll think of something! Anyway, the premise is that Chara can’t come back into the world if Frisk’s determination and soul don’t call to them. But what if someone else’s did? What if someone else, in another reality, was so determined to bring something to life that they put their very soul into it? Well, I think that would be enough to cause some stirring, wouldn’t it? If Chara can’t have Frisk’s world, then why not try for another? Sometimes it’s easier to cross some threads and take the long way back when a direct route isn’t available.
