Now that my epic week is over, I have a chance to post some pics. Last weekend our Patriarch, Mar Iohannes IV, came over from Canada to consecrate our priest to the episcopacy.

The whole weekend, and subsequent few days, was incredible. The service on Saturday not only had our priest becoming a bishop but one of our parishoners entered the minor order of Ostiarius (Doorkeeper). As a surprise for our new bishop a choir had been arranged to sing the alleluia and the Veni Creator Spiritus and they were incredible.

This church has been my spiritual home for 16 years or so and I couldn't imagine life without it.

Ostiarius, a giant alien worm thing whom deemed themselves as a king in their empty kingdom.  Dress up as king so does that make you a king? Hmmm who knows. ( edit: here’s more drawings of them [ x ] )
