YOU KNOW WHAT, I'M FINALLY GONNA POST IT

This took me 5 years. Obviously with huge pauses. Its kind of like concept art for a story... This is Lilium (or just Lily) and her shapeshifting pet/partner Nash. They're exploring an upper level of Hell.

Little more explanation, progress shots, and detail shots under the cut!

This. This dang piece. I first started it... late March, 2018. I finished it April this year. And I was all proud of it and junk, and... ran into a feeling I might not have before. I was too scared of actually sharing it on social media because I felt so sure it would get entirely ignored/overlooked and then I'd just feel really bad about it. I hate how much external validation affects me. I try not to let it, but sometimes there's only so much you can do to control your emotions.

Its so old, it was started in photoshop, and... well, just look at the first sketch.

Lily and Nash both went through small design changes. Also I just, like... got better at drawing Nash in general lol. The many monsters were added a little later I guess.

The inks were done in 2019, a couple months after I switched to Clip Studio Paint. And the flats very soon after. But then it just SAT THERE. I have this habit of making a "please finish me" folder and dragging it along through the years like a ball and chain. But then I finally returned to it near the beginning of April this year and finished just at the end of the month.

Anywho. That's not interesting, you wanna dee details, right? This beast is YUGE.
