ik ur a larry blog but i see so many articles that outed liam. now i don’t know the lore w ziam and i have never speculated on either of their sexualities but i think its so vile that his ex is outing him in an interview. idc if people liked liam or not thats just an absolutely vile thing to do to someone. whether liam was straight or not, it was supposed his choice to come out about that. no one else should have done that for him. it’s just wrong!

I saw. I think that cat was out of the bag already with Braian's first statement when he said he and Liam did something "intimate". The original articles of this outing also attributes the "stuggling with his sexuality" and "he was sexting men when he was with MH" to a source, and not MH. What she's quoted saying though, almost sounds like grounds for a defamation law suit from the Payne's... but that's another story...

It is Liam's choice to come out, but if he's in the same boat as H and L, maybe it's only now after his death his truth can be revealed. It should have come from him, but now that it can't, it's hard to tell if it's something he would have wanted to be revealed or something that he would want to keep a secret. The truth always has a way of coming out in one way or another though. I don't think this could be kept a secret forever.

I also have thought, ever since Braian's statement, that maybe it's impossible to get through the trial, with people under oath and NDA's null and void, without it being revealed that Liam was queer. So maybe this "outing" is a controlled outing, to be ahead of anything that can or will be revealed at trial about Liam's sexuality.

I don't think it's any big surprise to fans (not on this side of fandom at least) that Liam was queer. There's been rumours for years. There's been several blind items. There's the whole Ziam thing, and not to mention all the fake relationships he's been in. Liam is probably the most straight passing out of all the 1D guys though. So if Liam is queer, eyes are going to turn to the others.

What i'm 100% sure of though, is that Liam didn’t struggle with his sexuality. It's way more likely that he stuggled with being forced to be closeted. Just like H and L.

Heather Kuttai did not have to look long or far for a reason she felt she must resign from her position as Saskatchewan Human Rights commissioner.

Above all else, the issue truly hits home.

“What drove me to this is, my husband and I have a kid who’s trans,” said Kuttai, who resigned following the provincial government’s decision to utilize the notwithstanding clause to pass a policy mandating teachers obtain parental consent before using a student’s preferred name and pronouns at school.

In a letter on Monday announcing her resignation effective immediately, Kuttai — one of six human rights commissioners in Saskatchewan — said the decision did not come lightly. But to her, the policy itself is “an attack on the rights of trans, nonbinary, and gender diverse children.

“A child’s rights must always take precedence over a parent’s obligations and responsibilities,” Kuttai said.

“My first concern is that this (bill) is going to hurt kids.”

I still can’t get over how a major part of Charlie’s character arc was that he was outed, and that Heartstopper clearly showed the negative toll it took on him, and instead of thinking, “outing people sucks, I shouldn’t do it,” the fandom went and outed one of the real-life actors!

getting outed was fucking awful lol like its not something i take lightly and i hate it that so often when there’s gay characters in shows or whatever their only plot is getting outed and they don’t show what that’s like they don’t show how fucking much it sucks they throw it around like it means nothing and it pisses me off so much. like. i hate coming out narratives in shows anyway but i especially hate outing narratives because so many of the ones ive seen have portrayed getting outed as something that was good for the character in the long run and straight people have no right to make that call gay people who haven’t been outed have no right to make that call. 

anyway! im a mean angry fag who still hasn’t completely recovered from being outed lol and i know im not being objective about this and i also dont want to be! so there!
