The world is ur gym! Rooftops are particularly nice when the view is on point.
Are there any Woodsmen/Landscapers, Outdoor workers, Survivalists or anyone else (gender is irrelevant to me, though Woodsmen is a gendered term I realize) that would be willing to teach and or pass on their knowledge to an eager to learn, Autistic 24 year old? If you have some knowledge or experience in how to communicate with Autistic people, that will help, but I'm not expecting that at all.
I am reaching out in the hopes that someone, somewhere will read this (long) post, without cringing at how much detail I will go into, and understand that yes, while it's extremely sad it has taken me as a person this long to realize that I so deeply enjoy doing these basic things that many people have been doing for generations, that at least I have a strong desire to learn them and everything that comes with the territory, even if it's difficult, which I absolutely expect it will be at some point (s).
2-4 weeks ago I began working outside on my relative's VERY unmanaged 5 acre property. She had PILES of kindling, leaves, pinecones, cedar leaves, dead bark, lawn trimmings from years ago, dead branches and twigs and tree loppings all over the place. There was a large 4x10 pile of yard debris directly by the front door. Took me 3 hours & 6 trips to the burn pile. I cleared the other pile that had been by the house for years as well as raked out the dead undergrowth under the brambles so her front yard actually looks decent.
I have done an absolute laundry list of other things around her property since then, however I'm wanting to educate myself more on and about these types of things, but have no one in my life that I can turn to for this purpose. I have no family with this knowledge, no friends and I am a kinesthetic learner, which means I learn best doing things hands on, in person in front of me.
I don't know the names of most tools, the differences between them or what they do, where they came from, when they started being used, their history, what they're used for, when you should or shouldn't use what tool Etc.
Here is some of the workout we did outside near the Lincoln Memorial.
Today I went to workout with my husbands family , it was a great experience. I'm usually very introverted and I like to workout by myself because I feel like I can push myself but working out I'm a group pushes you to another level . Here is the workout we did ▪️Ran for 1 mile. ▫️20 crunches ▪️20 leg lifts ▫️20 side plank taps in each side ▪️40 mountain climbers. ▫️3 sets of 10 yard wheels barrels ⬛️WE BURNED CLOSE TO 400 CALS

Yesterday’s rope fun. While in quarantine, I almost exclusively did cardio.
Gyms have reopened last week. It’s time to start weight training again !

🧘🏾♂️ Yoga!! 🧘🏾♂️
🌅 A way to start the day in a state of awareness by exercising. Yoga puts you in a place where you are constantly challenging ur body. The challenges come in the form of a set of core principals: balancing, stretching, core, and combinations of all three.
I’ve been doing the Beachbody yoga🧘🏾♂️ retreat. It’s three weeks 30 min a day and I start over with week one after week three. (Repeat the cycle)
💡I do take a rest week in between.💡
🗣🗣 If I skip a day I keep the sequence of dvds. It’s important to not do the same dvd or it will cause imbalance in the body.🗣🗣
