If any asshole say "Pfftt you have so many mental label... Are you like attention seeking? Just choose one mental illness." Tell them that human beings are complicated and yes one person might have several diagnosis
Also uh tie them in your basement if you want
How to hack your executive dysfunction
so youve been sitting around for a while doing sth like scrolling through your tumblr and you just can’t stop although you have to get up and do the dishes or sth
What works for me is doing a very little change that sort of starts the process of switching between the two activities
eg I’m sitting here and scroll through my social media but I want to get up, the easiest thing to do is just leave the app and then… stare in the air lol it actually helps it’s not a big switch between activities but it sort of initiates the transitions try it it’s worth it!
Just wondering if adhd has similar "symptoms" to asd? I am in the process of being assessed for adhd (adult) but initially I was wanting to get assessed for asd because of the sensory and stimming thing, but I chickened out. I am also female and I know women tend to "blend" a bit easier with various conditions and that's why we don't get diagnosed as frequently.
ADHDers also stim and can have sensory processing disorder. Hopefully your clinician will be able to tell the difference and be able to figure out what’s going on.

As it was requested (and these are the three things that I personally have) I made a Venn Diagram showing the overlap between ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety!
As it was requested by quite a few people, I made a Venn Diagram showing the overlapping symptoms of ADHD and PTSD. I really hope this helps!

As it was highly requested, ( @brilliantinconvenience, @sun-spice, @hotmessexpress99, @mar0la, @wereallcompost, @anarchasolarium ) I’ve made a diagram showing the overlapping symptoms of ADHD and OCD.
Also, (although I didn’t put it on the diagram because it isn’t a symptom) it’s interesting to note that both are caused by differences in the frontal lobe.

As it was requested by @peculiaroptimism, I made a diagram showing the overlap between Autism, ADHD and PTSD.
( I was so surprised to realise that PTSD and Autism don’t have any overlap that isn’t also shared with ADHD! )
