More of my thoughts:

Sorry gang gang but bro is not gonna be the "typical" hot guy. I decided to lean into the depression implications with Sans and I know very well that you don't have the energy or motivation to take care of yourself that much, unfortunately. It's why I decided to go for long hair and a less clean shaved face. The only thing Sans would take care of is making his eye bags blend more with makeup to not worry people and keep his teeth clean so he can always fall back on his smile as a mask but I have a feeling that he only started doing that for Papyrus.

Also it might be a bit hard to tell but the longer beard for the more straight/messy hair does indeed have a little longer bit that's tied in a braid, I personally think he just started doing that for fun when he was bored or Alphys gave him the idea!
