Prince Turpitude’s Coup (World event idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want some evil royalty to be introduced into your campaign.

The world is ruled by kingdoms (mostly), & out of all those kingdoms, one has a prince that can’t wait to get on the throne. This prince had evil ambitions that needed to be accomplished soon & he needs the throne to do it. So he does what any logical evil prince would do at this point, ie over thrower & kill anyone who opposes him. 

During a good two week period this coup will be under place & if not stopped by the party (or by bad rolls on the princes part), he will rule the throne & attempt to proceed with his evil ambitions. The ambitions will inevitably lead to conflict with the neighbors which will also lead to a whole hodgepodge of issues on it’s own.
