We need to have a serious f*cking conversation about the double standards of female agency.

One minute, an 18-year-old woman is a ‘strong, independent queen’ who can vote, drive, get an abortion, take out massive student loans, and send men her age to die in war.

The next minute?

She gets into a relationship with an older man.

She regrets it, or society doesn’t approve.

And suddenly, she’s a helpless, innocent ‘little girl’ who was ‘preyed upon.’

You don’t get to play “capable adult” when it’s convenient and “child victim” when it’s not.

📌 Pick a Lane: Are 18-Year-Old Women Adults or Not?

🔹 If an 18-year-old woman is old enough to vote on foreign policy, she’s old enough to pick who she f*cks. 🔹 If she can legally sign a contract, she can choose a relationship. 🔹 If she can be trusted with making life-altering choices like abortion or transitioning, she can decide who she dates. 🔹 If men her age are expected to “man up” and go die in war, she’s expected to “woman up” and own her decisions.

But instead? Society lets women pretend they’re fully functional adults until accountability knocks—then suddenly, they were ‘just little girls’ being manipulated.

No. If you’re old enough to decide a man’s fate at the ballot box, you’re old enough to own your f*cking choices in bed.

🚨 The ‘Preyed On’ Myth: Stop Turning Women Into Perpetual Victims

You know who actually gets preyed on?

12-year-olds getting groomed online.

Underage girls forced into relationships by actual predators.

Kids who don’t have the ability to legally or mentally consent.

You know who doesn’t? 18-year-olds making choices, then regretting them later.

You weren’t “preyed on” if you dated a 30-year-old at 18.

You weren’t “groomed” just because your older boyfriend had more life experience.

You weren’t “manipulated” just because you didn’t like how the relationship ended.

Being naive isn’t the same as being a victim. Bad choices aren’t the same as being preyed on.

If you’re an adult when you want to be, you’re an adult ALL THE TIME.
