8.) pacific overtures. the clans are NOT culturally diverse enough to have americaclan and japanclan. maybe if its like the clans and another group of cats or something, like the fucking tribe of rushing water oh my god. now THATS imperialism. i kind of dont want to think about the implications of making a warrior cats equivalent of japan and america though. kayama and manjiro were literally tallstar and jake though
7.) forum. idk like i guess they COULD be warrior cats but too much in forum is dependent on its ancient rome setting it stops making sense after a while, not to mention the shows farcical elements kinda get thrown out the window. it just doesnt really work
6.) sweeney todd. this ones a bit more plausible but like forum it would work better if warrior cats had class. and currency. im surprised cannibalism hasnt happened yet in warrior cats though. i would say its a step too dark but i mean... crazy shit happened in those books man. and also benjaminbarkerclaw really did get exiled from londonclan and now he has returned to get revenge on the evil turpinstar. also is the equivalent of being a barber being a medicine cat
5.) company. like i GUESS. theres nothing really getting in the way of it. but i feel like so much of company and whats wrong with bobby is the urban setting and. well. but on this subject ill direct you to a thing i said a couple months ago:

4.) assassins. hear me out okay is the carnival not LITERALLY the dark forest. like did the ghost of john wilkes booth not appear to lee like hawkfrost appearing to ivypool in omen of the stars. im sorry for speaking these words into existence but its not my fault john weidman accidentally wrote the most warrior cats ass scene before it was cool. the rest of it doesnt make sense but i dont really care because oswaldpaw is literally training in the dark forest as we speak
3.) follies. idk theres been follies-level relationship drama in warrior cats before. idk what the equivalent of the theater would be but warrior cats characters are very capable of doing everything else that happens in that show (i just watched follies for the first time like literally yesterday so sorry if im forgetting something that messes up this ranking)
2.) a little night music. mostly the same as follies but the shit going on in this musical actually feels like the type of shit you see in warrior cats. theyre already all incest related to each other in warrior cats so it wouldnt even be unusual for henrik to have a crush on his step mom that happens like every day. fredrikclaw is remembering his forbidden relationship with desireepelt from shadowclan while his son henrikpaw crushes on his young wife anneheart (age gap is also standard warrior cats canon) but he cant because hes training to become a medicine cat meanwhile desireepelt is having an affair with carl-magnusclaw the deputy of shadowclan (it actually makes sense for him to have the same suffix as fredrikclaw) and his wife charlottefur is angry so she teams up with anneheart and they all go for a weekend in barleys barn
