PadMay is an annual event in celebration of our beloved former queen and senator of Naboo, Padmé Naberrie Amidala.

How do I participate?

Choose the prompt(s) and/or Bingo line(s) you wish to complete and post them during May 2023.

How do I get a Bingo?

Fill five (5) prompts on a line, going horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or on the four corners + the free square, to complete a Bingo.

If you fill all 25 prompts on the card, you complete a Blackout.

You do NOT have to complete a Bingo or Blackout to participate! You may answer as few or as many as you want.

How do I fill a prompt?

There is no specific format. The prompts are jumping off points and may be considered in universe, AU, or meta. Answers may take the form of fiction, artwork, gifsets, vids, vlogs, comics, essay, discussion, bulleted lists, crafts, cosplay, whatever you come up with.

The FREE square (Naboo Royal Symbol) is for you to pick a random prompt. You have to fill it to make a Bingo or Blackout. You can pick any prompt on the card or from previous PadMay events.

There is no right or wrong way to participate! The purpose of PadMay is to celebrate Star Wars and Padmé, not create work or drama.

Star Wars / Empress Amidala x Darth Vader / 100 Words

Padmé straddled her husband’s waist, memorizing the contentment on his face. A stolen moment of peace.

Her fingers traced over mottled skin, and thick scar tissue that covered much of his body. She leaned over him, peppering small kisses along his jaw and neck, smiling against his skin when he would make a noise from her teeth scraping a rare spot where he still had feeling. Every advancement in technology developed under her Imperial rule would go, first, to repairing what used to be smooth, sun-kissed skin beneath her hands. 

A small ask from an Empress who’d nearly lost everything.
