Can you look me in the eye and say, 'I maintain Healthy Boundaries without apology'? Nearly everyone boundary we create comes with a certain level of extra effort, that we originally did not want to make. Saying NO without an explanation: Too hard! Putting away your phone at bed time: Too hard! Making yourself unavailable after hours: Too hard! Putting yourself before everyone else: Too hard! Stop worrying about things, during break: Too hard! We are either driven by guilt or shame that has been ingrained into us as part of our 'Social Construct' which has taught us, it is impolite, rude, arrogant, selfish, unkind, even bastard-ish to say no to things and people. We find explanations (read as excuses) why we cannot stick to a boundary. Either we feel ashamed or we think we will miss out on something or we tell ourselves that we are being selfish. Because that is what the Social Construct has taught us, from the day we started hearing other human beings (yes from the day you were born!) It is when, we decide to live our live INTENTIONALLY, with focus, clarity and purpose that is aligned with our integrity, dreams and passions, we start finding the true freedom and realize the person we are independent of all these social constructs we have contracted ourselves to. I am no different. Been there, done that, still working on many of these contracts to be destroyed, burnt and erased from my life. And as I do, I become bit more me, bit more fearless, bit more unapologetic for who I truly am. This place is beautiful and helps me fight many obstacles that I did not even realize were either self-created or accepted as part of the social construct I was given. Value yourself before anyone else can value you. I am working on spreading this message louder and prouder. Bringing something exciting and INTENTIONAL in paid services, for those who are ready to live INTENTIONALLY and with a clear purpose in their life. #21Decisions #INTENTIONALinfluenCEL #Page37 #Pride #Entrepreneurs #Business #Fitness #NonBinary #Gay #Podcast #StoryTelling #Happiness #Boundaries #Joy #almostNakedCEO #MensStyle #Style https://www.instagram.com/p/CS9azFzq6sk/?utm_medium=tumblr
