So, I guess I’m coming out via a (probably dead) meme.
Agender AroAce PanQueerplatonic sciencecore aesthetic for @unnoticed-thinker!
Lie Ren from RWBY is a lithromantic neutrois wispe, Ruby Rose is a genderfluid ace whose pronouns are she/her or they/them depending on the day, Jaune Arc is a gay panqueerplatonic trans boy, Nora Valkyrie is an aromantic bisexual poudretteilorn, and the four are in a QPR!
For the last anon:
Alternatively, there are a couple panqueerplatonic pride flags:
(1/2) Hi! So I was wondering why you don't add panplatonic flags. I've heard that it is because it is the "accepted" platonic orientation and that it isn't marginalized, but I don't see how this is the case. Sure, if you were talking about platonic relationships meaning "best friends" or something, I can see how this would be true. But I'm sure you know that this isn't what is meant when talking about platonic relationships. Rather, it is who we are willing to be in QPP relationships with. And
(2/2) honestly, QPP relationships aren't really accepted at all., or even recognized as "real relationships". We don't hold any structural power being panplatonic, unlike those who are heterosexual or cisgender do. So I definitely think you should reconsider adding panplatonic flags, as well as biplatonic and polyplatonic (poly- as in the orientation, not polyamorous) flags. Thanks for hearing me out!
Yeah I did mean panplatonic to describe “regular” (not sure how to word this better, sorry) platonic attractions, as in “a strong desire to get to know and spend time with someone in a friend/platonic way”, not to describe queerplatonic attractions, I have those listed as -queerplatonic rather than -platonic. I forgot that some people use the -platonic label to describe queerplatonic attractions and there’s not a consensus on which way to use -platonic.
Panqueerplatonic is fine (as well as bi- poly- etc) and the only reason I don’t have designs for them up is because nobody has made any yet (that I know of)! Anything related to QPPs are fully welcome on this blog!
Sorry for the confusion, I can update the FAQ to clarify this!
