Trousers will Always be a better word than pants

if a job is just standing about, walking, i should be allowed to wear a skirt instead of pants. the skirts are long and cover my legs... and i already own them and am more comfortable in them. i have to go out and buy pants just so i have something to wear to work, even though i have a closet full of clothes.
