I'm back! I've actually gotten some work done on one of my drafts so yay! I wanted to revisit this idea honestly before I forget or end up elbows deep in something else. Thanks for the love on part one~!

Ft: Sir Crocodile, Killer, Law, and Robin
Sir Crocodile
Won't admit it, but quite frankly a little nervous to attend a family event. He knew how important family is to you, and well...he didn't have the best upbringing. Of course, he kept the same face as the day approached, but he may or may not have been stressing a bit at the idea.
You did have to convince the man not to wear a whole suit. You were going to be outside for the most part, you reminded him. His "dress-down" outfit was a pair of slacks, a fitted quartered button up, and dress shoes. You knew that was as good as it was going to get; you smiled at his 'simple' jewelry display: watch, only a few rings, and gold box chain.
Switches to a normal appearing prosthetic. You were nervous about the little ones staring too much, but Crocodile didn't seem to mind. You didn't say anything, but you saw the slight smile he wore as the kids poked and bombarded him with a bunch of questions.
Nearly everyone shares how impressive he seemed and teased you for managing to catch 'someone like him.' Crocodile knew they meant well, but he smoothly sung his praises for you--all the joy and light you added to his life.
Doesn't even notice the warm feeling in his heart as he comfortably sits surrounded by your family, quietly enjoying the festivities and family environment.
Killer
So incredibly shy that he asks if you're sure that he should come. Of course you did; he just had to try one more time to get out of this.
Was too nervous the day of and ended up showing up a bit early by himself. An older aunt spotted him and kindly asked if he could help set up some tables and chairs. That made him feel a bit better; he doesn't mind helping others.
By the time you arrive, several members of the family came up to you telling you how sweet and kind your boyfriend is. You knew that, but you were surprised he had opened up before you arrived.
Somehow ends playing flag-football with your cousins after you mentioned he played in college.
It was nearly a switch in his personality. He locked in and caught every ball that was sent his way. The guys definitely enjoyed the game with a new player.
It did take you guys a minute to leave later that night. Killer wanted to be sure to say bye to everyone. The grannies and aunties made you promise to bring him around for the next holiday.
Law
Your friends didn't understand it, but you were a bit nervous to introduce Law to your extended family. It was a simple reason really: Law was the PERFECT boyfriend to bring around. Hello!? He's a doctor!
Completely oblivious to your reasoning, but assures you that he happy to meet the family and spend time with them.
The first hour went how you expected--elders beaming at him, asking about his education and specialty. These were questions that he was used to, and he did feel a bit proud after your mom offhandedly commented that he was so much better than the last person you brought with.
You do steer him away when you had a feeling someone was going to start giving him their medical history. Your feet lead you to the right direction though because soon you two ran into your cousins, and Law nearly bolted away from you.
Sora, Warrior of the Sea trading cards!
Law quickly made his presence known, and before you knew it, he and your cousins were lost in their own world of head canons, lore, villain rankings, and more. (Nerds...)
When it was time to eat, you found him inside playing videogames.
Law smiles to himself as he listens in to family stories and jokes. The night was just starting, and he was happy to be apart of those who you held close.
Nico Robin
To no one's surprise, everyone gravitates to her at different points of the day.
She lets the kids pull her into different games and sings along with their songs.
She graciously accepts the compliments from those like your uncles and cousins, but keeps you close--even sharing the things she likes about you.
Any family traditions big or small? Robin definitely wants to see and learn about them. You try to pass them off as silly, but Robin reminds you that family practices can give you a home.
Does accidentally freak out some of your aunts when she gave an eerie comparison, but you were quick to clarify. Robin simple chuckled at the expressions she received.
Near the end of the night, Robin's following your steps dancing and feeling warm with all the love surrounding her.
So funny story...in addition to being generally behind with the fics in my drafts, this lovely author (me) was in the hospital for two weeks and currently on recovery leave 😅 I joked with my aunt that I got hit with the AO3 curse lol. But! I am okay and taking it easy. I was skimming my blog and missed doing little shorts/headcanons. Plus! It's almost summer, so indulge with me~
Happy Pride! Happy Caribbean Heritage Month! Cheers to being alive and trying every day!

Ft: Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, and Nami
Monkey D. Luffy
Let's be honest...he's eating too much damn food.
You did have a conversation with both him and your family beforehand. You told your grandma and aunties to cook too much food and slid them some cash because you knew how your boyfriend ate. You also told Luffy that he needed to make sure others ate too. He just grinned and nodded at you.
Thankfully! Luffy knows how to party too!
First time meeting most of your family though there's some cousins of yours he's hung out with before. Loves playing games with the kids and keeps up with their fun energy. He might even wear them out first.
Loves dominoes. Like, for real, for real. Luffy gets down bad! Surprisingly, he doesn't talk smack back at your uncles--just grins and chuckles to himself. (He might actually break a table slamming down a tile though so be prepared)
Spreads his love throughout your family but always comes back to hang with you and dance the night away
Black Leg Sanji
Oh this man has been ready for this moment forever.
It took you nearly a day to talk him down into bringing 'only' 5 dishes. He definitely trusted your family's cooking; Sanji just wanted to contribute to the festivities.
All the food he brought? GONE! No leftovers or to-go plates. That food was devoured.
Sanji's charm drew everyone in. Even your grumpiest grand-aunt cracked the tiniest of smile after he beamed and complimented her outfit.
Despite his charm though, your family wasn't going to give out any secret family recipes. Someone joked that he had to be married in before they could share.
Sanji nearly proposed right then and there.
Roronoa Zoro
Begrudgingly agrees to go. He knew this wasn't a party he could sit in a corner and drink alone. He'd have to socialize...but it couldn't be the end of the world, right?
Right off the bat, the little kids are attracted to him like a magnet. They poke and prob at his muscles and challenge him to silly games like foot races, hide and seek, and even kickball.
You thought he had a break finally, but then some of your cousins asked him if he could hoop. Zoro just shrugged and put his bandana on. (The aunties lost their minds since he was on team skins).
Zoro spoke with each elder he came across and kept his grunts to a minimum. He even blushed a little after your grandma doted on him when he easily carried over a couple coolers filled with ice and drinks.
Definitely enjoys his fill of food. You didn't even know the food was ready when you saw he had made you both a plate. The plastic chair was a little snug, but he insisted you sit on his leg, so others could eat at the table.
Beers started opening a little later, and he loosened up a bit.
Later on in the night, you could hear him quietly singing along to the music. You didn't say anything though. You were just glad he was enjoying himself.
Nami
Doesn't immediately show it, but is very grateful that you invited her along.
She beams brightly at everyone who comes her way.
Immediately gets some of the tea from your girl cousins--didn't matter if it was work or family-related. They shared, and she listened.
Impresses some of your family members when they learn she's an entrepreneur. She just winks and passes her business card, offering consulting services at a "discounted" rate.
You dashed across the lawn when you say one of your uncles trying to rope her into some card gambling. They didn't know why, but it was in their best interest. You didn't want to hear about how your girlfriend robbed everyone blind at future gatherings.
Nami hugs on your arm in the evening as everyone enjoyed the stars. She was happy that you let her in to meet your family and the loved they showed.
~~~
Damn, now I want to go to a cookout...
Thanks for reading! I'm hoping to get through some of my drafts in the next couple weeks. I did have fun writing this though. Maybe this will help me loosen up a bit. I am planning on doing a part two to this. Who would you like to see?
Yay for the summer! Be sure to drink some water and stay safe!
Okay! The kinktober bug got me, so I'mma write this little bit to scratch the itch before I hole myself up in my drafts again. Shout out to all the writers. It's always the best time of the year seeing what people churn out. I've been bingeing fics when this little idea popped in my head. I hope you enjoy~
CW: nsfw, mdni, smut, tiny reference of past tojixshiu, sweet fem reader, dirty talk, sharing is caring, Toji makes a dumb ass bet, black fem reader in mind, possibly ooc
Shiu knew that there weren't many 'normie' things he could enjoy in his life. It usually didn't bother him. If he stuck to his usual shadows, then things would only be complicated in ways he knew how to handle. But melding two worlds? Yeah...he should have known better.
Shiu and Toji had a complex, not-so-professional relationship that developed over the course of years. Working in their industry would do that to you. Sticking with one person could be risky, but floating and meandering around could be worse. Shiu and Toji had a system that worked for them which lead to them sharing a lot of aspects of their life.
Money, bets, whiskey, and late nights were common between them. Toji should have stopped losing his money to his partner by now, but he knew Shiu would find him another job soon enough. He'd keep that money better next time (lies).
However, something changed for Shiu, and he knew it wasn't going to end well...
He met you while he was out buying a new watch after negotiating an upcoming job. You were working in another area of the jewelry store when your eyes met. You smiled kindly at the man before gesturing at the unlit cigarette between his lips. Shiu usually didn't care what businesses' rules were, but he fumbled putting the cancer stick away. By the time he straightened himself out, your attention was elsewhere with another customer.
Shiu didn't like the nervous feeling in his chest then. It wasn't like the normal anxiety from lurking where you weren't welcomed. This felt light and new. Warm and sweet. Shiu fought the urge to reach into his suit coat.
His mind was already distracted; he should just leave. But the sweet notes of your laughter reached his ears. He guessed a joke was made from the customer. He wanted to get your attention like that. Just for a moment. Maybe he just needed to get out and have a little fun. Indulge. It had been awhile especially if the glow of an innocent woman is having him act like this.
He kept walking around the shop--barely paying attention to the watches in the cases. He wandered a bit before pausing at one particular piece.
"I appreciate you not lighting your cigarette, sir. The smoke sometimes disturbs other customers or lingers on the jewelry." your voice pulled his head up immediately. You introduced yourself. "Is there anything I can help you with?"
Shiu knew in that moment that he was trapped. There was a softness in you that he wanted to admire. A brightness that couldn't be replicated in his day-to-day. It had to be his.
~~~
It was a night like many before: crushed cigarettes in multiple ash trays, opened beer bottles, bundled cash in multiple stacks, a soft glow from the lights above.
Things were winding down for the night. Sooner or later, Shiu was going to stumble back to his place or end up crashing on Toji's couch. For once, his friend wasn't loud and raucous. Toji was counting his earnings from the night before he opened his mouth.
"We should hit the tracks tomorrow. There's a comeback horse that's been making some racket."
Shiu didn't look away from the ceiling. "I can't. I got...a thing." Immediately, he hated how that came out. Not smooth at all. And knowing Toji, he was going to keep digging. But maybe luck was on Shiu's side. The air shifted and after a few moments of silence, he could hear his friend's deep breathing and an occasional snore.
Shiu let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
...
"What hot piece of ass has been holding you down, huh?"
It was crude, but that wasn't what made Shiu cringe on the inside. He knew he had been skating by for months, but he still wasn't ready to have this conversation with Fushiguro. Shiu wasn't naive. He knew Toji was smarter than he let on sometimes. He had to be for his line of work. But still.
Toji would eventually put things together. Shiu seemed like the same, old smooth businessman. He wasn't distracted during meetings. And he still huffed at Toji's gambling misfortunes. But he wasn't as available or there in a way. There were times when Toji noticed he smoked a bit less if Shiu said had somewhere to be later. The men weren't conjoined at the hip, but Toji knew that Shiu liked lounging at certain clubs to see certain women. Him denying Toji's suggestion was the final clue in a string he'd been silently noting over the last couple months. Shiu's hesitation was all the confirmation he needed.
Of course, Toji could have used his skills to find out himself, but eh, he'd allow the man some privacy. Plus, Shiu might have been able to detect if he was being followed after awhile.
Finally, Shiu took out a cigarette and lit it. "She's sweet. Works a normal job, has normal friends. Just took her out a couple times." Toji grunted in response. He wasn't fooled. Shiu wouldn't be entertaining the same woman if it was just something casual. They had connections and places for something like that. Probably a lot easier to deal with too.
Toji gave him a look before cracking a grin. "Well, you should let me meet the girl then. I'll be nice to her." he winked.
And this was exactly what Shiu wanted to avoid. He knew the certain pull Toji had on people--a bit more than he cared to admit. It wasn't like he didn't trust you. You were just cute and soft and sweet. He wanted to keep you to himself, not get you mixed up in the dark temptations that Toji would definitely bring. Part of him hoped Toji was just going to be his usual boarish self if you two did meet, but there was a lingering glint in Toji's eyes. He was intrigued and that could awaken that suave skill set Shiu knew lurked.
He flicked his lighter close. "Forget it."
"Aww, come on. I'm not gonna blast all your unsavory business out there. We'll just hang out. I'm sure she's too prudish for me." Toji was playing the game. He was just curious really. Shiu deserved to have something a bit softer in his life. His hands were mostly clean. Toji just wanted to see his friend play house for a bit. Shiu's look didn't lighten up though. "Relax. Hey, our game is boring me. Let's make a bet."
Now, this felt like a normal night between the two. Shiu sat up a little and just shook his head. Exhaling, he shrugged. "Fine. I always win in the end with you."
Toji chuckled as he gathered the cards together. "Here. It's your deck."
~~~
Shiu tried not to stare off into space as you walked around his place, straightening things up (not much) and humming to the music that played in the background. His mind kept drifting to that last hand with Toji. The bastard must have cheated. Only explanation. Because even if someone asked him a hundred times, Shiu would confidently say he'd win the last hand. Toji's luck did not come out in big shows like that. Even if there was something on the line, Lady Luck would simply watch.
But here he is.
Shiu's hands twitched for a cigarette as he eyed you up and down. You looked great, as always. Your black slacks were just the right tightness--showed what was there but comfortable to wear. You had a nice off the shoulder top that brought your necklaces to focus. Though it wasn't always your style, the two-tone lip combo was drawing in his eyes. You looked gorgeous. And Shiu tried to play off this hang out smoothly.
Toji may have been a good friend, but there was no need to get all spruced up. It wasn't like tonight was a date night. Plus, knowing Toji, he'd bet his friend would show up in usual sweats and compression shirt. Hell, Shiu wouldn't put it passed Toji to show up after a job without even a shower. He looked at you and exhaled.
And...perfect! You smiled to yourself as you adjusted the few candles you lit in the living room. Shiu's place was nice, but candles were always a nice addition. You tried not to fuss too much with your outfit, but you'd be lying if you said you weren't nervous. Even after the few months of getting to know him, Shiu didn't let a lot about his personal life get out. He didn't look like the average businessman, but his calm nature and smooth personality kept you secure.
You were happy when he suggested inviting a friend over. It was going to be a simple hang out. You knew Shiu had a friend or two, so why wouldn't you take the opportunity to meet them? Plus! That meant he thought you were important, right?
You looked over at your boyfriend who was fiddling with his lighter. You giggled to yourself when suddenly the doorbell rung. Shiu popped up quick, but you were already on your feet. "I'll get it."
You nearly skipped and had on your sweetest smile as you went to the door. "Hi-!" Whatever else you were going to say died quickly in your throat.
The man was large! He took up nearly all of the doorframe as he looked down at you. His smile was friendly, but those dark green eyes hinted at trouble, a heated one. Your eyes flashed between that look, his scar, and his dark blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled just below his elbows. His forearms seemed to bulge slightly, and there was definitely a vein or two that you could make out. You swallowed.
"Oh pretty girl, it's a pleasure to meet you. Toji," he chuckled as he took your hand and placed a soft peck on it. You felt your body instantly warm up. He chuckled seeming to know the effect he had on you. "you must be the amazing y/n."
In a breath, you felt Shiu right behind you--a hand placed on your hip pulling you closer. "Toji," he paused taking in his friend's outfit, "good to see you," though he didn't really sound that enthusiastic.
The two of you stepped back as the man moved in and made himself comfortable. Shiu placed a kiss on your head. "Why don't you bring out the drinks from the kitchen." his voice broke whatever spell was on you; you hummed and made your way over.
Toji grinned in response to the glare sent his way. "What?"
Shiu didn't stop his hands as he reached for a cigarette. "What's with the get up?"
"I'm meeting someone important to you. I should look nice."
Shiu grunted as he messed with his lighter. "Don't try anything funny."
He didn't like the flash in his friend's eyes. "I'll be on my best behavior."
~~~
"Fuck, fuck, fuck! Toji!!!" no matter how hard you tried, it seemed like there wasn't enough air to sate your lungs. Your legs trembled as you were stuffed with those thick fingers while licks and nibbles decorated your neck and chest. The gruff voice made you clenched tighter as pleasure continued to hit you.
"Damn Shiu, I thought you said you had a good girl on your hands. You need to tell her to watch her mouth, yeah?"
The man simply glared at the display in front of him as he smoked a cigarette. "Be gentle with her. She's delicate."
Toji chuckled as he curled his fingers up, hitting that spongy spot mercilessly. He licked his lips at the string of moans that came out. "Delicate my ass. You should feel how hard she's gripping my arm while I finger her. Strong gal." He turned back to you with a grin and placed a nice smack on your thigh. "Come on, how 'bout you tell your boyfriend how much of a slut you like being."
If someone were to ask you, you had no answer for how you ended up in this situation really. You came back to the living room with drinks, the guys chatted, you smiled and laughed at Toji's jokes. He didn't give you any specific details about what he did for work either, but it didn't bother you. You made a comment about how much he must work out; he returned with a compliment--harmless really. But maybe that's when things started escalating. Soon, you were playfully running away in Shiu's house, and now, you were a bumbling mess trying to breath and not fixate on the fact that someone other than your boyfriend was bringing you to new heights.
A smack to your other leg brought you back a bit. "I told you to do something, darlin'."
The words flowed out immediately. "Fuck yes, I'm a slut, baby. I'm sorry!" you sobbed needily.
Toji was in a twisted fantasy of his that he didn't even know existed. There was something so delicious about discovering a hidden slut. Maybe it was something in your eyes or the way that you melted ever so slightly when you looked at Toji, but either way, he knew. It was dangerously fun.
"There you go, good girl. You just needed some good handling; is your boyfriend too soft for you?" Toji taunted while slowing down his fingers just a little so you could answer. Shiu's jaw tightened just a little.
"Toji-," but your whimpers cut him off. You bit your lower lip while shaking your head.
"Come on doll. It's okay. Whatever your boyfriend is too scared to do, I'll take care of ya." He brought up one of your calves to his lips then gave one a nibble and kiss. "I know how to handle sluts." A shiver ran through you. Your lips trembled a bit, but you didn't answer. Toji simply chuckled and tightened his grip on your legs. "Good thing I know how to break sluts in too."
...
"Say it again," Toji gruffly demanded just to grip your chin and turn it when you had opened your mouth. "You already apologized to me. Go tell your boyfriend how sorry are you for lying to him. Shiu must feel like a dumbass for fucking a slut like a princess."
The tears streamed down your face as you threw yourself back on your boyfriend--whimpering. "I'm so so sorry baby." Toji's mean chuckle from in front made you clench despite yourself. "Didn't mean to -hic- keep a secret." You were somehow floating and drowning at this point. Toji finally passed you off to your lover after ripping who-knows-how-many orgasms out of you. For a brief moment, you mistakenly thought that you'd catch a break and feel the sweet touch of Shiu.
His eyes reminded you of Toji. He only leaned down to place a chaste kiss on your temple. "Your safe word is red." he whispered simply before leaning back. "Now, we need to make up for lost time."
Shiu's grip never faltered on your hips as he met your thrust and kept you from falling forward. "I know, love. It's okay," he cooed at you, "we just gotta fuck the slut out of you. Give me my good girl back, yeah?"
You moaned despite yourself. The night was not going to end anytime soon.

Did I want this to be longer? Yes. Has this been sitting in my drafts for months? Also yes.
I need more fics with ShiuxReaderxToji. I see them every blue moon, but I will not be satisfied!
First fic of the year! I'm updating my drafts I promise 🙏🏾 I'm starting a move so this month has been different than I expected 😅 But I saw a tiktok with my nice man, Crocodile, and I got inspired~ Should I be going through my things and packing? Yes, but it can wait lol

Send me strength and good vibes to continue my stories. I'm still interested in them. I just miss the days when I could write for hours and the ideas flowed. Adulting gets in the way now
As always though, thank you for reading and don't be afraid to slid me an idea~
Okay so I SHOULD be working on the next chapter of my Miguel fic...and I promise I am. But I can't stop thinking about this post from @luxthestrange with my lovely man, Crocodile (also ignoring the fact that I'm behind on updating his fic by alot...) So here's a little something to get the writer vibes flowing

Sir Crocodile x Ex-Secretary!Reader
You never thought that you'd end up having a WANTED poster, but you made some questionable choices as a youth which made entering the 'normal' world extremely hard and ultimately not worth it after awhile.
You did managed to get a desk job, but that didn't last long when it was revealed to have owed some money to a dangerous, business-smart pirate named Sir Crocodile. Amidst the raid, you were called out by said captain as it was your questioning of the numbers and certain other connections that brought some attention to what your then-boss was doing. (Oops). Either way, you expected to get interrogated then disposed of.
You got a handshake and job offer instead.
Now of course, you didn't immediately join Crocodile's side, but he noticed your attention to details and ease of conversing with even the seemingly shadiest of connects. Crocodile didn't think you were a pirate, but you certainly weren't a normal civilian either.
The secretary offer came after Crocodile witnessed you boldly standing up to one Warlord (Doffy) when he tried to barge into Crocodile's office while he was on a phone call. You were merely passing by. But you knew that Sir Crocodile didn't like to be interrupted, and the secretary then wasn't holding his place against the giant man.
Doflamingo was pissed. But Crocodile approved.
So then started the years of partnership and endless work where you kept tabs and details organized for Crocodile's use while you were rewarded in both finances and work benefits.
You enjoyed it, so you were a bit let down when things hit the fan and your boss in jail.
However, you were able to start an underground consulting business while hiding from the Marines. It was quite successful. When news came of Crocodile's escape, it was easy enough to track him down and send him a wealth of information ranging from old contacts to accounts that were still untouched. As a courtesy...
Sir Crocodile was quick to send over a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful invitation to welcome you back to working for him. You gracefully declined citing your new business adventure and gave warm wishes.
And so started a relentless array of attempts of winning you back. Several initial consultations for 'new clients' were just lunches of the man trying to convince you. Each time, you'd just sit and listen before taking the check for your time. Gifts of your favorite fragrances, coffees, pastries, and the like were always welcoming you either home or to your office. It did surprise you a bit how much the man knew about you. Your actual clients seemed to nervous to be caught between you both since Crocodile was trying to scare them off, and you were stern in getting your demands and continuing your work.
After some time though, it had been silent. You caught wind of Crocodile's new partners, and you felt some relief that others were able to take on and work with the man. Things would be easier now. You'd both cross paths maybe as partners or each other's clients in the future.
A knock at the door rattles your calm evening and tea. You stood from your living room and peek out your peephole. However, you didn't see anything. You were just about to walk away when you could've sworn you smelled a familiar robust smoke and opened the door.
You nearly gasped when you see Crocodile on his knees with the largest ramo of lilacs, Adam's needles, and roses you'd ever seen--although they were on the ground under his hand. He looked up at you with both desire, stress, and relief.
He puffed out his smoke before yanking out his cigar and pleading. "You are the most competent, skilled, and amazing person I know. I need you back in my life even more now. Please dear, come back to me."
I cross-posted this on AO3 just to test out the format and read on it. It's interesting how apps/websites can impact how well we absorb the content. Anyway, is this still a silly little smut story? Yes. Am I possibly adding the slightest touch of angst as well? Maybe. I like to stir the pot lol
Pt 1 Prev
CW: mdni, black fem reader in mind, light jealousy trope (not crazy/toxic), author knows some Spanish, flirting/teasing, blackcat!Miguel
There was a rule in the Spider Society that was not one of Miguel's. It was one that each Spider whispered to each other and would eventually communicate to the rookies. The story and heavy details of Miguel's past weren't known to everyone. At this point, the specifics didn't seems to matter really.
At all costs, do not bring a Miguel-variant to HQ where Spider-Man 2099 can see them.
There's no sure answer as to when this rule was established. Even early members recall it, but no specific incident brought it into effect. It did happen every now and then. Lyla would be informed, and the captured variant would jump to the front of the line of the Go-Home machine. If necessary, there was always a large amount of work one could throw into Miguel's face to keep him distracted. It was a simple process to follow.
You yawned and stretched your arms before dressing in your suit. Though you did plan to wear your mask, you took extra time and effort covering any hickeys and nibbles that just peeked through (tattoo makeup did wonders). You gave yourself a once-over in the mirror before a voice interrupted your work.
"Do we really have to go, hermosa? Maybe you can just keep me tied up here?"
As crazy of a suggestion that was, it was oh-so tempting after the night that occurred. You looked at the man sitting on your floor through the mirror and rolled your eyes. "You really don't want to go home do you? There has to be someone waiting for you."
Those brightly colored eyes dimmed almost something serious for the first time since you met this Miguel. "No lo creo. I'm sure Spider-Man is enjoying the break from my deeds."
"Mmhm, and no friends or sweethearts wondering where you are?"
"Maybe not. Some say I might play too much." You faked a surprised gasp. "Oi, no soy malo."
You rolled your eyes and webbed at his cuffed wrists. "Come on now pretty boy. We need to get going soon."
~~~
There was already a line for the Go-Away machine when you both arrived. Surprisingly, this Miguel didn't seem too shocked after going through a portal and suddenly being surrounded by a bunch or Spider heroes. Though to be fair, he was glitching out in a universe he knew wasn't his own, so maybe not too surprising.
You stretched--giving a slight pull on the...leash(?) connected to Miguel's cuffs. This should be a quick trip though. You never dealt with a Miguel-variant before, but you heard the stories and knew the simple protocol enough to take a few steps passed the line.
But then Lyla stopped you.
She popped up in front of with an awkward smile. "Hey girl..." she nibbled her cheek as she looked behind you, eyeing up your kidnappee.
"Lyla, I don't like the look on your face."
She flashed a skull emoji before she continued her unconvincing facade. "No, no! It's fine really! Just uh...yougottawaitinline" she spilled out quickly.
"What?" you replied and chose to ignore the mischievous chuckle behind you. "Lyla, YOU know the rules. Mig-,"
"Yes, yes. That is typically how it goes, but with the machine down we had a build up of rather dangerous and/or misfit variants that need to go home like a.s.a.p! I mean, you've been handling him. He's not dangerous, right?" You turned your head and was met with a wink. You grunted. "Girl, we have like seven Deadpool variants, please!" Lyla went on.
"Fine, how long are you thinking? I'll find us a hiding spot. Building's big enough." you sighed.
"Two hours tops!"
You nodded. "Tch, let's go. I need to hide you before shit hits the fan." you turned and walked away, ignoring the whispers and glances from those in line.
...
Miguel fumed to himself as he sat in his office. He was very aware that there was a line of anomalies waiting to get sent back home, so he fixated on his screens making sure there weren't any sudden rips in the multiverse's stability. His eyes were straining. He had half a mind to oversee the machine's use to ensure everyone was returning to their proper places, but Jess told him to focus in the office. Things were already being handled. He could work on other things and watch from afar.
That was a while ago though. He skimmed the list of the Spiders that were apparently on site--his interest peaking once he saw your name. Miguel meant to check in with you. He noticed that your universe returned to its natural stability. That's a relief. I wonder where she is, so we can go over the anomaly and how she managed to capture it. He totally wasn't wondering how your date went.
Miguel groaned and stretched as his platform lowered itself. He wouldn't stop by the go-home machine since he wanted to at least show he trusted the team (and Lyla), but it wouldn't hurt to do a lap around and HQ (and find you).
He walked through the hallways in no particular rush. Spiders said hi or waved as they passed--whether walking or swinging by. He acknowledged them and realized how content he was. The HQ was still a stressful operation to lead, but it seemed it was finally in place with systems and others trusted to keep things in tact. Not too much pressure on Miguel.
But there was always something of course. Couldn't get too comfortable.
The labs were excited with the progress they made on some defensive tech and beamed while showing their results. Miguel noted to come by later on. The library was quiet even though the workers were busy as always documenting new inventory and upkeeping with universes' worth on knowledge. Miguel peeked into the gym and immediately caught a weight plate before it could hit his chest.
"Tch," he released a deep breath as he pinched his nose then let go of the weight. He chose to ignore the dent on the padded floors. "How many times have I said that these are for weight training? Not projectiles!" He glared at the two young boys as they smiled awkwardly.
"Well yeah know, it is kinda strength training: testing out our webs and muscles." Miles flexed his arms and giggled. His face dropped when he met Miguel's eyes again. Miles relaxed his pose. "Sorry..."
Miguel just shook his head. "You guys have genetically-engineered webs. A 50lb weight is barely a challenge." he grumbled. "Junior! Veo a tu! Limpia el cuarto o yo envio los dos a casa!"
"Jeez guey, chinga-,"
Miles slapped his friend on the back of his head. "Bro shut up! Lo siento tio, we'll get it spotless." Miles saluted. Junior grumbled before he started picking up the other equipment around them.
Miguel kissed his teeth as he left the practice room. Those boys...He paused at the sound of his stomach grumbling. Yeah, let me go get something to eat.
~~~
You let out a deep sigh as you took your mask off and let your hair out. You shook your head a bit before glaring at your companion across from you.
Kitty-Miguel (as you've finally decided to call him mentally) seemed unbothered munching on a steamy beef patty while still cuffed across from you. You figured it was in your best interest to keep him out of the normal line of sight all things considered, so you two sat outside at a shaded picnic table. The high altitude kept things cool too while letting the Sun shine bright.
You raised a brow while you let your patty cool down. "You're being very calm about this...not even trying to escape?"
"Hermosa, even if I did manage to get out of these cuffs, apparently there's a building full of superheroes ready to hunt me down. I'm quick and witty, not stupid." he huffed out a laugh.
"Mmhm, not stupid but easily decided to meet with me," you teased.
Miguel's eyes seemed to light up as he took in the sight of you. There was that toothy grin again. "So I'm weak to a sexy woman giving me attention? Nothing I'd ever regret, amor."
"Hey now, I already let you get a taste. No need to go on with the compliments." you teasingly stuck your tongue out.
"If I keep complimenting you, do I get a chance at round two?" he licked his lips as he eyed you.
You recognized that heat rushing through your body, and it took more than you wanted to to stop the moan from slipping passed your lips. You could only grunt before you two continued to eat. The memories from last night stayed on your mind though. You huffed to yourself--only looking up when you felt that deep chuckle a little.
"Tch, what's so funny?" you sighed. You paused as Kitty-Miguel winked and nodded his head a bit. You caved and leaned forward.
He moved up a bit and leaned by your ear like he had naughty secret and whispered. "There's sexy cabron peeking from inside. Hopefully, someone isn't the jealous type. Who could that be, hmm?" Just as you gasped, the variant gave you a nibble on your ear lobe and slow kiss on that good spot on your neck. "Uh oh, looks like he's coming."
You sat up quickly and turned with your fakest, brightest (albeit nervous) smile. "Hey Miguel! What brings you here-,"
"Quien es el pendejo?" Miguel growled out while glaring at the man sitting with you, immediately picking a fight.
You cocked your head. "Miguel, you know my Spanish is shit-,"
"Oi, un burro; don't tell me this is supposed to me?" he cackled and leaned on his fists.
You shot up to your feet, pretending that your figure covered the man behind you. "Miguel! Wow, so good to see you here!" your mind was scrambling. What was the protocol if Miguel saw a variant of himself!, you wailed to yourself. "Great news! Found the variant that was hiding, yay!" Miguel's expression didn't drop, but he shifted his focus to you. He grunted. You weren't sure what to say.
"Jeez, a stick in the mud I see. This your boss?"
"Oh my god, shut up!" you barked back.
Unfortunately, his retort was quick like lightning. "Make me like you did last night." he winked. The air immediately got tense, and you were two seconds from mentally glitching when your unexpected savior appeared.
"You can use the Go-Home machine now~" Lyla sung cheerfully as she popped up from your watch. When you didn't reply, she looked around at the scene in front of her. "Oooh, two Miguels...not good." She thought for a moment then peered behind you, her glasses scanning the variant before a ding! sounded. "Never mind! Information gathered. Emergency Portal opening now,"
"Lyla!" Miguel called out, but the air was already starting to shift around and light shining.
You kept that silly guilty smile on your face as you took a few steps while pulling Kitty along. "Oh perfect timing! Sorry Miguel! Got get things stable, ya know. Haha, see you soon!" You hopped into the portal giggling awkwardly while Kitty smirked and stuck his tongue out at your boss. Might was not amused.
One thought cross your mind as you traveled: Oh, I'm so in trouble...
~~~
It was an easy enough task dropping off Kitty-Miguel home. He whined and pouted when he recognized his home dimension, but overall didn't give you any real problems. He knew his fun run had come to end.
You huffed to yourself when his phone went off with texts messages from a few lovers and friends. You rolled your eyes as you handed it to him after taking off the cuffs finally. "Not popular my ass," you joked.
Miguel rubbed his wrist and shrugged. "Seems like I'm not the only one," he winked. You both turned as a flash on red and blue flashed passed you and continued through the sea of skyscrapers into the night. "Eh, that's my cue. Guess I'll go mess with Spider-Man. I'm sure he's missed me too." he grinned.
You shook your head. "Goodbye, Miguel. Stay out of trouble." you said though you knew there was no real point.
"Aww, no goodbye kiss? Come on hermosa," he gave you a soft needy look.
You palmed your forehead and sighed. Fuck it. You grabbed his collar and pulled him. His lips were soft and moved hungrily with yours. He had a slight sweet taste that you knew you could get addicted to, but thankfully, Miguel was the one who pulled back first.
He chuckled as he took some steps towards the edge of the roof. You tensed slightly, but he kept going. "See ya, amor. Find me if that burro gives you any problems." he winked before taking a step off.
You couldn't help the gasp that came and dashed towards the edge. Just then, you watched as the man swung with a grapple into night. He had to have some tricks (or literal objects) up his sleeves.
You sighed then giggled. It was time to go home.
...
The hot water was good on your muscles. Despite the slight hiccup with Spider-Man 2099, it was still a success in your head. You did find the anomaly, so as far as you're concerned, your world was safe! You continued to wash off everything from the day, and your worries flow away. Another win for you!
Once out, you wrapped a towel around before doing a quick skincare routine--humming to yourself. You walked out your bathroom, steam slowly flowing into your room. You took a step out but shot out a web with a gasp just as a heavy feeling flashed through your body. You bit your lip looking ahead.
With your web caught in his hand, Miguel lounged lazily yet intimidatingly on your bed. He was in his suit but no mask. His eyes were a darker red yet nearly glowed as he took you in. He huffed a laugh, but you knew better than that.
"That's funny," you felt your stomach tighten from his tone, "I don't remember leaving those hickies on you, huh."
So funny story, author (me) got hit with the fanfic/AO3 curse last month 😅 I was in the hospital, but everything's okay! I have a couple more weeks of leave before I go to work, so I had time to write...
All jokes aside. Fandom content is keeping me sane. That and Netflix...thanks for reading! I'll try to start the next chapter before life goes back to normal, but we'll see!
Check out the poll on my page. Tryna see how many variants we'll fit into this fic. See ya and take care~
Hello~ I absolutely loved your Cowboy Crocodile headcannon! I desperately need more if you would be willing 🖤😭
Yes!!! Anything for a fellow Crocodile lover! I really do enjoy writing for my nice man. I need to see more of him in the manga/anime~
Thinking more about Cowboy!Crocodile....
Cowboy!Crocodile who didn't think he'd stick to life on the ranch at all. He'd get dropped off at his grandfather's as a youngster and hated it!
Cowboy!Crocodile who was shocked when the horses paid him no mind as a kid and wanted to make those large creatures submit!
Cowboy!Crocodile learned patience from working with the animals over the years. It took different strategies and communication styles. People still irked him though.
Cowboy!Crocodile was never bothered by you though. Oh never you. He just wanted to lurk by whenever someone was too close and it didn't seem related to business.
Cowboy!Crocodile noticed when you'd pop by his office though it was floors above yours. You're always welcomed, but you didn't want anyone getting the wrong idea. (The secretary knew)
Cowboy!Crocodile was mostly attentive when you'd present him with new information about different ranches and studies on cattle raising. His mind did wander to you wearing his hat, and he plotted with the other percentage of his mind.
Cowboy!Crocodile who's shocked when you invite him to a lounge after work. It was not his usual scene or music, but he'd try his best for you.
Cowboy!Crocodile kept an eye out for creeps under the brim of his hat after you insisted on getting the next round of drinks. He didn't mind. He'd slip it into your next paycheck any way.
Cowboy!Crocodile who nearly blushed when you pulled him onto the dance floor and he didn't know what to do because again, not his crowd.
Cowboy!Crocodile who easily maneuvered you closer when someone was getting a bit too close for his comfort even though you weren't against dancing with others.
Cowboy!Crocodile who huffed his cigar smoke when you both were back in your seats. He shot daggers at those who looked in your direction while you were ever clueless.
Cowboy!Crocodile nearly choked on that cigar when you suddenly popped up with the bright idea of riding the mechanical bull. He wanted to stop you, but you dashed away. He might have miscounted the amount of drinks you both had.
Cowboy!Crocodile whose face got hot as he watched you lift yourself up and down trying to keep balance on the bull. His eyes definitely did not peek at your jeans or the bit of skin that teased him.
Cowboy!Crocodile was the first one to help you up after you fell off. You were all giggles though.
Cowboy!Crocodile got you home later that night as you laughed a little tispy recounting the moments he was by your side for.
Cowboy!Crocodile tried to play the gentleman act at your door, but you were quicker.
Cowboy!Crocodile's brain paused when you gripped his bolo tie and pecked him on the cheek.
Cowboy!Crocodile thought about that moment as he stared at his boots once home. He'd give you a proper kiss next time.
~~~
Aaah thank you for requesting! I hope this wasn't rushed. I don't normally get requests, so I didn't want you waiting. Crocodile come spoil me please~~~
I want to find all the Cowboy!Crocodile art I can. I'm obsessed!

Pt Three: Dangerous Secrets Lead to Necessary Bonding
Safety was never guaranteed while at sea. Be it sea monsters or marines, the trust of the crew is what could determine if the celebration at the end of battle was due to victory or to honor someone's life.
Crocodile didn't like to let his guard down. Some things took a long time to unlearn after years of being on your own. He would try his best to look out for others, but to lean on those same people proved to be difficult.
Crocodile knew when he was being watched, and that typically meant someone was trying to size him up--possibly steal whatever was on his person. Now, that feeling would be set off from a casual head-count from the first mate or a crew member looking up from their book while he was in the kitchen.
It didn't take long for Crocodile to realize just how shot his nerves were at times, but he knew he couldn't really complain about the eyes on him. You, for example, made it very clear that he needed to prove himself capable. Crocodile wouldn't take it for granted that the Captain let him on board--not after years of being rejected by other crews and ships.
He did not fear loneliness, but if the Captain did decide to discard him on the next god-forsaken island, it would be a gruesome battle back out to the sea.
"Oi, whatchu daydreaming about over there? It's time for your next set of trainin,'" Of course, it was your voice that broke through his thoughts. He looked up to see you wrapping your hands in bandages before stretching.
He grunted. "What is it this time?" he didn't sound too excited. Any amount of training from you related to chores, chores, and more chores. Even if he could escape to the small library, it would only be a matter of time before you'd be coming with more work--whether labor or specific reading. But seeing your fists wrapped hinted that today was going to be a bit different than normal.
"Let's go on the deck."
It seemed to be a peaceful day. There wasn't much wind, so the ship bobbed gently with the waves. Some of the crew around was either finishing their own tasks or enjoying their hobbies. Overlooking the deck sat the Captain cheerfully smiling while a cigar rested in her hand. The first mate stood tall and firm in their posture--though that was their 'relaxed' pose.
A unique excitement hummed under Crocodile's skin. You told him to grab his dagger prosthetic. He was stubborn at first about using a normal one, but he knew the Captain was getting tired on things randomly breaking or tearing because of other. He wouldn't say it out loud, but your cockiness excited him too.
He knew everyone on the crew was tough. No one could convince him otherwise, and while swords and guns were typical weapons of choice, he noted that you had neither.
"Doesn't seem like a fair fight if you don't have a weapon. I could easily hurt you." Crocodile's grin was wide despite his 'kind' warning. His expression wavered a bit when some of the crew that was around chuckled at his comment. "Tch."
You gave your arms another good stretch before letting out a breath. "Let's go lizard boy."
...
A grunt heaved itself out of Crocodile's chest as his body landed on the wooden deck for the last time. He coughed as he slowly rose to his knees before his arms trembled and gave out again. He growled to himself at the sound of the crew's light laughter and as the ground echoed the steps of your approach.
You reached out your hand to the young man but wasn't surprised when he ignored it--hoisting himself up to sit and wincing at the pain. "You did good."
"Don't mock me!" he spat back quickly.
You sighed while shaking your head. "I've had easier fights. Don't go beating yourself up because of some cuts and bruises." Crocodile glared up at you but did notice the scratches on your arms and small knicks in your clothes. You fought him simply with your first--similar to his first encounter with the Captain. He huffed but his shoulders relaxed some.
Clapping echoed to the lower deck. "Bravo! Bravo! Good try likkle lizard." the Captain beamed down and even the first-mate seemed amused by the minute change in their expression.
"You will get stronger." you stated simply before turning and walking away.
Crocodile wiped some blood that trickled from the corner of his lip. Damn right!
~~~
The roar of a Sea-King seemed to rattle the mast and shake the sails. The crew chuckled and grinned as they drew their weapons. You turned to main door of the cabin. The Captain was napping, and the first-mate was taking a well-deserved rest too. Neither of them were coming out to help which meant that the threat was a minor one. The Captain expected her crew to take care of it, so you would.
It would have been nice to have the help considering the vast number of giant tentacles on the beast, but no matter.
You kissed your teeth and cracked your knuckles.
"I'm betting I'll slash more tentacles than you. Maybe even get the final blow!" your rival, the skilled gun-man, called out your way.
You simply rolled your eyes and leaped forward--dagger in hand. The beast was not a typical octopus; there were definitely more arms than eight. It didn't matter though as small and large arms dropped either on deck or in the sea. Pirates went for punches and kicks at the beast as well. You chuckled as the chef and some of the others pulled the limbs towards the kitchen, bulking up the food stores. It should have been an easy enough task for the day, but your eyes caught onto scruffy black hair and a shiny, sharp piece of metal.
Damn it! He should be inside folding the laundry! Crocodile was trying to figure out what the racket was outside, but wasn't paying enough attention to his surroundings. "Lizard-," you began to call out, but as the young man turned towards your voice, a tentacle pushed him off his feet and into the air with the sea as his landing. You grunted as your ran over to railing and leaned. "Oi, hurry up and get to the rope!" You ignored the taunts thrown by the gun-man. You were about to turn back to finish the Sea-King, but there was no movement in the water. What the?
Before you could really process it, you were already diving into the sea. Your eyes quickly adjusted to the water, and you honed on Crocodile's body a few feet away, sinking at a steady pace. This guy! You kicked your feet quickly to catch up to him.
Crocodile seemed to be out cold. His eyes were closed, and air bubbled out his mouth from his lungs. You groaned as pulled onto his sleeve before getting a firm grasp on his arm. You pulled and fought the water--fighting to get back to the boat. You gasped loudly after you surfaced and turned your attention to Crocodile. "Hey! Wake up!" you even shook him a bit, but there was only a few shallow coughs from the man. You swam quickly. Soon you two were by the rope, crew hollering and checking on you both. You situated Crocodile on your back before reaching for the first rope rail.
"Get the doc! NOW!"
~~~
The wooden floorboards croaked a little as the door opened, but you didn't stand from your seat outside the infirmary. You glanced up at your Captain who had on a soft smile--trying not to seem too bright considering the serious situation. The first mate was nearly as unreadable as always.
"Oh no sad faces, rascal. The lizard will be fine." she smiled and placed a firm hand on your shoulder.
You grunted. "Dumbass, that's what happens when you don't pay attention." Seemed to play off that you obviously cared.
The Captain chuckled, seeing through your act. "Maybe, you could have left him to the sea. I know Johnson's going ta trouble yuh for losing the bet."
You huffed out a sigh at the thought of your rival's teasing. "I couldn't. You'd have my neck if he drowned."
Another hearty laugh. "Very, very true! Still, I heard you quickly dove in. That's care."
You didn't want to admit to that bit. "Whatever, he's an idiot. Who goes out to sea without being able to swim? Shit, or even float?"
"I don't think know-how is the problem here." the first-mate grunted out. You looked between the two, but their expressions didn't change even as they walked away.
That last statement threw you off. Why wouldn't knowing how to swim make a difference? You remained in your seat trying to wrap your head around the situation before the answer came at you suddenly. You glared at the infirmary door. That dumbass!
~~~
The plate shattered as it fell. A bullet went right through Crocodile's hand--sand falling from the hole before coming back to reform. Crocodile felt his face warm up and emotions heighten. He quickly turned around to where you and Johnson sat at the table. The lanky man laughed loudly as smoke trailed from his pistol as it spun. You, on the other hand, seemed unphased and turned the page in your book.
"Oi! What the hell?" Crocodile barked out. He then turned to you, hoping to get someone on his side. "The fucker shot me!"
You glanced up uninterested. "Okay so?" Now that Crocodile thought about it, it was odd seeing you two peacefully by each other. He had seen enough of your arguments and bets from afar to know it was unusual. Which meant...this was definitely a set up. He hissed. "Oh hush! I've been lecturing you about trust and such, and you're over here keeping damn secrets! Who the hell goes out to sea with a devil fruit and doesn't say anything?! You almost died!"
Crocodile felt the embarrassment crawl up his neck. He wasn't surprised to hear the words from you really. He had meant to bring it up, at least to the Captain, but it was too late now. Johnson snickered as he held his gun towards Crocodile again. The young man held his hands up. "Hey! Wait, wait!"
You only grunted. "Hmm, you'll be fine."
"WAIT! I can't always control it, okay? Don't fucking shoot me again!" You looked back at your rival before you both shook heads.
"Oh jeez, he's even dumber than I thought!" Johnson laughed before standing. "You got your work cut out for you, brat number one!" you hissed at the nickname and flicked him off as he left the kitchen.
You let out a deep breath as Crocodile finally started cleaning up the broken plate. "He's not wrong though. You need to learn to control your devil fruit. It won't help you if you end up in the sea again, but you can use it to fight."
Crocodile dumped the shards into the trash. "It's just sand..."
You nearly face-palmed. "Yeah, you're an idiot. Any devil fruit can be formidable if you know how to use it correctly." You stood up and stretched. "Well enjoy this easy day, Lizzard, because from here on out, it's gonna be an even bumpier ride. The real training begins now."
So...I do believe I have an idea for where this story is going. I'm thinking a series of events that add to Crocodile's development. I don't mind having OCs for the crew, but I don't want to get too caught up in that either. Definitely the Captain and first-mate will get fleshed out more especially since they were mentioned in the first fic that inspired this series. Maybe I'll do a separate post to at least organize the few OCs that will appear.
I seem to be getting back into my writing vibe this year, so cheers to that! Thanks for reading! My inbox is opened for ideas/questions/comments.
