After that last scenario about Saki not being home, I can no longer hold myself back--!!! Do you have any headcanons of the the four awkaward babies being in a polyamorous relationship together??
POLYAMORY WITH THIS OT4 IS SO GREAT!!!!!!!!
Saki and Anri have coffee dates together. Lots of bonding moments like shopping (Anri doesn’t know how to shop honestly, Saki helps her pick out nice cute clothes), working out at the gym (Anri wants to make sure that Saki is strong enough to at least throw a punch that can knock someone out), cooking together (they’re both bad, they’ll burn the kitchen down accidentally).
Kida and Mikado are generally the same as they always have been, though Kida is slowly getting Mikado comfortable with the idea of kissing and holding hands and generally being more physically comfortable with each other.
Anri and Mikado are still pretty awkward but they work things out together. They discuss things like Responsible Adults but ultimately, when they end up with a moot point, they invite Saki to help them discuss and settle things because Saki is a really good mediator (not that Anri and Mikado are arguing, it’s just cause they’re not used to talking about emotions so it takes a lot of prompting from Saki to get the ball rolling).
Kida and Anri are honestly like best friends but with romance involved. Kida helps Anri with her laundry, walks her home after class, etc. But he has deep conversations with her too, reminds her that she doesn’t have to tackle everything by herself. If she thinks herself as imperfect, Kida tells her that he loves her despite all of that, and because of all of that. He loves her for everything that she is.
Mikado and Saki and like a puzzle duo. They like doing weird things together. It’s mostly weird because the two of them are really different from each other but they have oddly very similar interests. They watch sci-fi movies together, discuss alien and conspiracy theories together, and among other things they go to the arcade with each other to win stupid looking toys for their lovers.
They have movie nights, bundled up in one small apartment with blankets on the floor and pillows everywhere. Dinner is popcorn and various bags of potato chips. The movie choices range from romance to horror to obscure indie films that Saki somehow managed to get her hands on.
Cuddle Puddles started by Kida. They all kind of just drape themselves around each other when they need emotional recharge. Anri’s the shyest about it (at first she just sat next to them and leaned her head against their shoulder. Now she just lays her head on their lap when she needs it).
Saki and Mikado are more open about things compared to the other two, which is also why they probably get along so well.
Roadtrips together to nearby provinces. (When they’re old enough) Kida drives, Mikado’s shotgun, the girls are at the back. Kida’s not allowed to touch the radio, Anri can drive the longest because she can stay awake the longest. Saki ends up shot gun most of the time because she doesn’t like driving but she talks a lot so she keeps the driver awake. Mikado is also not allowed to touch the radio. Lots of singing along to Disney songs.
Their first trip to Disneyland together was a disaster. They lost Anri after the first 10 minutes and Saki decided the fastest way to find her was to page her. Anri’s face was red for a full hour. Mikado wants to ride all of the Really Fast rides. Kida pukes after the third one. Saki keeps wanting to ride all the kiddie rides. They watch the fireworks and they all end up taking a long nap in their car before driving home.
Whenever someone asks who’s dating who, they keep giving different answers to confuse everyone out of spite because no one needs to stick their nose into their very warm and loving relationship.
