I recently checked pluralpedia for new schizoid related terms there, but instead saw that the description for SzPD System is rather inaccurate. Take a look:
- Psychotic episodes aren't part of szpd!
- being paranoid and suspicious is more so a core symptom of ppd, not so much szpd.
- I have yet to hear of a Schizoid system who forms factives for this specific reason.
- Schizoid's aren't typically scared of strangers.
When you scroll down further you find the reason for these inaccuracies:
"This term was added to fill a redlink", no one has coined this yet.
So I'm going to properly coin this term now.
SzPD System
Other names: Schizoid System
A SzPD System is a system with Schizoid Personality Disorder (SzPD). It is a type of PD System.
SzPD System can be affected by being Schizoid in a variety of ways in the way their system is structured, in the way they function or the kind of members they have.
Some examples:
- Forming members to manage social interactions, no existing member can adequately deal with. Especially in relationships that make the them feel engulfed, like friendships, families or partners.
- Having parative headmates from schizoid's tendency to be preoccupied with fantasy, i.e daydreaming.
- A system with dissociative barriers that keep information about some areas of daily life away from other areas of daily life, as to prevent the sharing of too much information with people outside of the system, therfore limiting the possibility of feeling intruded by other people.
- A system with many headmates who have reduced affectivity, lack the desire to socialize, and are pervasivly detached.
- Members who feel detached from life and fundamentally different from people, and even seperate from their own emotions, leading to apathy, derealization and depersonalisation. Reality might seem uninteresting to them.
