Short intro post.

This blog is dedicated to anything regarding SzPD. Personal experiences, culture is type posts, general whatever posts relates to SzPD, reblogs. Occasionally plural stuff, but consider that a background flavour.

- FYI this is a side blog, so you probably won't recognize when I like one of your posts. This is intended.

- You can send asks if you want, I might or might not post them.

- No DNI, I don't want to categorically exclude people from this blog. If I don't like you I will block you, simple.

- If you care about my stance on something you can DM me. Might or might not tell you lmao.

- This blog is run by a collective, we use different sign-offs in the tags. We are in our 20s. Pronouns are collectively he/him. We choose not to use a name (or names) on this blog. If you must, please use the account's name for us. It is okay to refer to individual headmates by their sign-offs.

i find it so hard to distinguish/ recognize people and faces, let alone remember them. everyone is just all one ... thing. one mass that is other than me. how can you expect me to remember you at all? dont be selfish like that. dont expect me to.

i remember hearing about a disorder in which the sufferer couldnt recognize faces (its called Prosopagnosia i believe), like something in the facial recognition wiring is wrong. i relate to that a lot. plus, the second i look away from you, you could be my "best friend" for years or a relative, i cant recall your face. fades instantaneously. were you ever a person? it seems like the people im surrounded by are transient ghosts that look the same and fade like thin vapor in memory

id repeatedly ask "dont you look at your own mom or sibling or whoever similar in your life and you realize you dont really *KNOW* who they are? like who *are* they?" and people, every time, would react like that was gibberish. like i said something incomprehensible

anyone "close" to me is a stranger, everyone is their own person but close to eachother. but not to me. they just happen to be my mom, or my uncle or my acquaintance . players, roles.

and its easy to see everyone as equal and detached from myself. i wonder whats its like to truly have a normal attachment like that, like you feel close to someone. like you arent observing creatures from the other side of a pane of glass

2 people have decided to go out of their way to get in my way aka 'directly approach me to talk to me'. Doing gym at the same time, 7ish times a week, for over a year gets you noticed. I don't really wanna change my schedule, but I might have to if one or both of them keep trying to talk to me.

If for some reason I lost my scarred arm, I'd probably put new ones on my other arm. It feels more like my arm when I put something on it. Putting marks on this body in some way makes it more mine. I put that there. It's mine.

I hate hate hate the term "social contract". Maybe ill make a longer post about my thoughts but like I'm not obligated to be nice to you and youre not obligated to be nice to me. I do not agree to your contract dont ever talk to me again.

I hate that it's being used like this so much. "Being nice to each other" or whatever is only the very surface level of the social contract. What the core of the social contract is really about, is the agreement (explicit and implicit) by which people grant legitimacy to political authority in exchange for order, security, rights, or mutual benefit. That's really not the same thing as agreeing to be nice to each other. It's more like agreeing not to kill each other in our sleep. That's very differnt in my opinion.
