What do you think of the part about Meredith outwitting Tobyn?

I'm not sure that I would call it "outwitting."

Don't get me wrong - Meredith definitely played and out manuevered Tobyn, but IMO, we can only say that because BP didn't play ball when it leaked. Everything was right there for BP/CH to play a massive blinder and sympathy card by saying "we went to this meeting in good faith, intending to start a new relationship but this shows nothing has changed. His Majesty is disappointed that this meeting wasn't taken seriously by the Archewell staff, who treated it like a photo op, and still remains hopeful of reconnecting with his family."

But that's technically the nuclear option because it's calling the Sussexes/Archewell out on their PR shenanigans, when BP/CH is equally guilty of their own PR shenanigans. So really it's KP who had the power to pull a statement like that off, but KP did the next best thing and noped out of it entirely with their "we weren't invited" statement.

I disagree with the OP's/podcasters' assessment that the KP comms team suck in how they've handled this - the team does have problems (like they're overly reliant on social media for their sports patronages and there was no need for them to like the Taylor Swift engagement announcement) but specifically in regards to the peace summit and how KP is handling the Sussexes, they're doing it right.

But bottom line/TLDR, Tobyn massively fumbled this and it's BP's nonreaction to the Charlotte Griffiths leaks that makes it look like Meredith outplayed him.

Kevin is hosting The Peace Summit today and tomorrow. Today is the heavy day in which parents who have lost children from the Palestine / Israel conflict are coming together to have a conversation about what they can do to bridge peace.

We also have pre recorded interviews from someone in the Sudan, as well as peace activists like Shri Shri Ravi Shankar (he helped regions in Columbia plagued by drug lords come to a some sort of peace treaty).

I’m really proud of my husband for putting this together. The Peace issue (due out in stores like Whole Foods and B&N in the summer) will be largely sourced from this 2-day summit 🙏🏽

Tomorrow is discussing how to foster peace in relationships and in the family, as that ripples out into the whole world.
