Dragon idk if you’ve read @peachesofteal’s Raspberry Girl, but I swear that she and Bambi would get along great.

I can just imagine the two of them bonding over feeling a little displaced in the world because of their neurodivergence. And also the fact that they both have two hot hunks who take amazing care of them😂.

Raspberry Girl would bake for Bambi and they would have tea. Bambi would teach RG some stretches to help regulate herself as a part of her day!

And they would be bestfriends!

Bambi and Raspberry Girl would understand each other on a spiritual level. They're both doing their best in this crazy world, and sighing with relief when Simon steps in to make sure everything is okay.

They'd have tea and tarts and gentle stretches with no loud noises and Soft Doms on deck.

I read all of what is available of @peachesofteal 's anthology "Through Me (The Flood)" last night. In the *chapter*, I guess you would call it, "Daddy"; there was a section that slapped itself into my brain and STUCK THERE.

I am not good at shading. I am not good at doing much more than full face, head on, drawings. I am not good at clothes. But this needed to be drawn and I did it and I hope it is well received.

This is me, dropping off a couple song recs - "Wait in the Truck" by Hardy for our Simple Math crew when Ghost/Soap realize what reader's ex has done. Also "Pretty Little Poison" by Warren Zeiders for Ghost and Darling because then being around each other right now feels very toxic (at least until Darling gets some stability in regards to her mental health)

1) the character everyone gets wrong

Honestly I feel like Despair gets the worst rap, especially given how she’s often involved in Desire’s shenanigans. Her function isn’t inherently bad or evil, but I think she is more dependent on her siblings than the other Endless- like you need to be deprived of something you desire for there to be despair, you need to have your dreams shattered for there to be despair. That said, I think her function is the hardest to bear/carry/exist within, and she needs more love and compassion

14) that one thing you see in fics all the time

I feel like I see a lot of doting, perfect father Morpheus, which is fun to imagine but I don’t totally buy it. Like yes post imprisonment I feel like he’s definitely going to make an effort to not make the same mistakes he did with Orpheus but he still makes (sometimes tragic) mistakes. A lot of those fics feel too idilic and rosy (which is fine if that floats your boat! God knows I love a happy family fic) and not messy enough to be true to the Morpheus of the comics

@ennas-aesthetic tagged me in the Last Line game so I’m going off what they put cause I haven’t seen it go around! The rules are I have to post the last lines of my current WIP. So here’s a couple paragraphs for the chapter I’m working on!

Dream hated him. Hated that the dog ignored him and responded only to me, hated that this new creation looked like him (though I secretly think he was pleased), hated that Eres was a thing he couldn’t control. Like a cat and a dog staring each other down, both sets of twin eyes looked at the other in displeasure, fighting for my affection. It would have been funny if I wasn’t still kind of freaked out about having created at all and waiting any second for Dream to reabsorb the shadow dog. Then there was the downside to Eres being attached to me. When I would come back to the Waking world, still tucked away in Hob’s guest room that had become as much a home as I could make it, Eres decided he wasn’t content being away from me for hours on end. I’d been getting ready for the day, rifling through my closet when I heard Hob shouting in the living room in surprise along with heavy thuds and a quieter crash. “Uh, Dahlia! Why is there a large dog in the house?”
