Finn Windu is Nevermore’s history teacher, and he’s also a vampire. Specifically, he’s a Daywalker, which means he can go out in the day- but he has to be careful. He is also married to Rey Kenobi, the psychology teacher who is also a Da Vinci. They have a sweet little girl named Sanaa and are expecting another little peanut soon.

I have empty nest syndrome,

since the last BB baby fledged this morning. I cleaned the box and rehung it so Dr. Clara can start another nest, and that helped with the little sadness of not having seen any of them leave the box. Meanwhile, I keep an eye on the events and visitors on the yard. Yesterday, I saw the first Hummingbird, just briefly in the evening, today a female and male Rosebreasted Grosbeak. There is a very vocal Oriole, too. May is starting nicely but so far, also very wet. I am ready for some sunshine. Peanut the Redbellied Woodpecker seems to have a girlfriend nearby. He comes very frequently and also announces himself loudly. Sail smoothly into Wednesday!

WHAT A LIL’ PEANUT! We’d make stunning children. Like, as an adult, I do all right, I’m a decent dish, but holy moly I was an adorable child. Our offspring would dazzle, to be sure. Well. They’d either be breathtakingly beautiful, or two rights would make a wrong. Y’all know what I’m talking about. We’ve had those perfectly lovely, pleasing to the eye relatives/friends who we’ve had to lie to because their kids look like missing links. #genetics be crazy yo
