I have been listening to Severus & Stone nonstop for f o u r d a y s and finally made two OCs based on it. These two are Smokypaw and Pebbleskip, two of the three kits from Duskfur and Echorain’s second litter! These two sisters were born almost identical, with the exception of their eyes, their personalities, and their health. Pebbleskip is aloof and closed-off, and does not make friends easily, while Smokypaw was a natural at being the center of attention and liked being around other cats. Smokypaw was also born very sickly, and by the midpoint of their apprenticeship, she was dead. Pebbleskip, Pebblepaw at the time, had seen her die, and their close bond caused Smokypaw to get stuck on the way to StarClan. Until Pebbleskip can let go of her guilt and grief, Smokypaw will continue to stick with her sister (and unintentionally pester her almost as much as is possible.)
Leaf-Bare Y34 is really the season of juxtaposition of life and death. Another four cats have died (including Twigkit and yet another medicine cat in Pebbleskip, taking us down to two for a clan of nearly 100), and Birdclaw has also announced that she is pregnant
