Hey Jack! I just spent a good half an hour trying to map out how the choices books connect to each other 😅 but I wanted to know your thoughts on the Endless Summer-Hero-Across The Void connection! Especially the big tie-in with ES and Hero 😊

Honestly I’m gonna go with multiverse theory. It’s a bit lazy and not at all as in-depth as you might be wanting from me but if you want something more in depth it would have to wait until I replayed Hero and ATV, since it’s been a hot minute since I played either of them.

Specifically the multiverse theory that one decision spreads off and creates parallel worlds, which would explain the root connection of the crystals/species or whatever it was -- really it’s been a LONG time since I played the latter 2 -- but with different events occurring around them rather than all of them possibly happening in the same universe but having to work out the sequencing of them.

Especially if you take into account the fact that you could potentially change the world in ES to go with Rourke’s plan -- because that in and of itself is a parallel universe with some slight changes due to the choices created around one or more individuals. 

On that note it would have been cool to see that be the only option and then have an ES4 where you gotta put shit right but I also don’t think my feels could have handled it.

Inktober, Day 5. Deer

Prompts like "Deer" are too restrictive in my opinion. there is not much you can do with that that everyone else isn't also doing. So I did a Kildeer instead.

Inktober 2025, Day 3. Crown

Crown was the prompt today, and I had a few Ideas. A nice game of checkers, maybe a really detailed drawing of some historic actual crown. Also the thought of a cute little tooth with a gold crown. Or even a king wearing a tooth crowning his head.

But in the end, slicing off a fascist's head was just too appealing.

I cannot physically gesture hard enough to the 10-ish chapters and 20-25k words I wrote for book 4 that did not get used because the third arc gave me so much shit. it is nothing in final product like it was in development. saying they are similar or were once one in the same is like saying we are similar to the fish that first crawled on land

8. which fic this year was most fun to write?

I’m a sucker: Bound by Choice. I got to wrap up the biggest surprise/secret/mystery/untold story in the Oblivionverse at the time. What happened to Cynbel has been the thing hanging over every plot since book 1 and finally getting to bring it all together while setting up a lot of thick drama for book 4 was, och, chef’s kiss

This year I used up

1/2 (15 ml) a bottle of Deleter Black 4 ink,

about 1 ml of Deleter White 1 (aqueous) ink,

Half a length of one 2.0 Mitsu-Bishi F lead,

two Sakura Sumo Grip eraser chucks in the electric,

and about an inch off the Sumo Grip block eraser.

I also killed one maru nib and one tama spoon nib.

The color is ALL Winsor & Newton Drawing Inks. I ONLY used liquid ink this year, no watercolors or copics.

I escaped injury, and did not get too much ink on my clothes.
