This PARADISE is threatened by the building a luxury housing complex (called Barbuda Ocean Club) right on top of the point!!!

This project is illegal. First and foremost because it is inside a Ramsar protected area. Yeah, you got it: to make sure people leave it alone, a large section of Barbuda, including Palmetto Point, has been declared a protected wetland area under an international treaty called the Ramsar Convention.
