So uh. @pastelaspirations , I read Perserverence in like. 2 days. It also kinda revived my burnout somehow??? And it's definitely in my top 3 fics of any fandom list. So... I ended up drawing this thing. There are more doodles I might post later, but for now I just want to get this thing posted because I've been rendering it for like 2 weeks at this point. So yeah. Uhm. Have an Ink.

I stuck fairly close to the reference but there were a few things I shifted around. This was a real practice in drawing with different shades of brown, that for sure TT-TT

I did my best to add in all the little details from the design, but I also added his sketchbook . Thinking about it now he almost definitely keeps it in a bag, but, I meant, belt book looks cooler. Also speaking of details I was so close to accidentally leaving out his little face ink splash, which is insane considering it's like. His whole character design thing. But I low-key just forgot it throughout the entire creative process? Lmao

I also got so close to not finishing this in time, because guess what? I'm going out of the county for several days starting in, like, 5 hours. So maybe that contributed to it >.<

The lil guy is trying so hard to look intimidating but like. Nobody who knows him is falling for that. Scratch that, nobody is. He's wayyyy to anxious to be intimidating after he opens his mouth, but we love him for it!!

This art was made to the song "Meet Me in the Woods" by Lord Huron, which I've probably listened to like 50 times in the past week, if anyone needs song recs :>

PS: This was made 50% out of hyperfixation and 50% as a way to donate motivation because I am physically drowning without the next chapter :>

mostly wanted to test out a more sketchy style for the occasion :] oh yeah she's also an ancient undertale character of mine but nowadays I use her for just abt any setting that I figure works out
