My rendition of Heracles, better known by his Roman name Hercules, from Greek mythology.

I wanted to capture a few different elements from his myths, such as the nemean lion pelt and hydra blood arrows, while also giving him my own touches and take on the god. His overall design was partially inspired by Guts from Berserk, in fact, with his armor meant to reference greek vase styles.

Recently I did some drawing, and I decided to try coloring and outlining my drawings for once. This is the result! The two characters here are two OC's I've made for a story I'm conceptualizing, currently called Phantasmicommedia.

The red wearing character is Alexander Durante, who's meant to be based on Dante Alighieri. He's a summoner of beings called phantasms, which are similar to the demons of Shin Megami Tensei in the regard that they are mythical figures brought to life by human thought. He's meant to be somewhat of a performer, is rather outgoing and often talkative. He can also be rather exaggerated in his emotions, however, being quick to anger, sadness, or fear. Those of you who have been following me for a bit might recognize him from some of my previous posts, but this is the design I have to say I'm really happy with. It might change in the future, though, so keep that in mind.

The second character here, in blue, is based moreso on Vergil and serves as a guide and friend to Alexander during his journeys. I haven't solidified much about him yet, but their name is likely going to be Maro, after part if Vergil's full name. His darker appearance here is meant to demonstrate how he'll be a bit distant at first, but will likely warm up to Alexander and others as the journey goes on.
