Super Mario movie 2024 spoiler alert

The upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie is an animated film produced by Illumination and Nintendo and will feature the voices of Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, and Jack Black as Bowser.

The story will follow Mario and Luigi as they journey to the Mushroom Kingdom to rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser. (SPOILER ALERT) Along the way, they will encounter familiar characters and locations from the Super Mario Bros. game series.

However, it's important to note that the movie contains scenes that may be triggering for photosensitive individuals. There are soft lightning flashes and flashlights, which can be uncomfortable for some viewers. More concerning are the scenes where the green "warp pipes" are used. These scenes contain bright colors, flashing lights, and rotating visuals that can be highly triggering for people with photosensitivity. It's advisable for viewers to consult a doctor or specialist if they have concerns about photosensitivity before watching the movie.

When Joy and Sadness fall out of headquarters and go down the tube, the screen kind of flashes a bit as she passes through the tunnel quickly with intermittent dark patches (this is the best description i have sorry) thoughr I'd post in case any of my followers need to know :)

So, I got a couple of asks this morning asking me how I cope with PMLE. This right here is the biggest part of me pretending to be a normal daywalker and frolicking in the sun, rather than just roaming the streets in darkness. It's called Heliocare, it's OTC, and the best part is it's available on Amazon. Also, for those who do not identify as female, it does say "(women)" on the listing, but it's perfectly fine for all genders and some sentient potatoes*. Okay, but in all seriousness, I started using Heliocare when I was about 15, when I first found out I had PMLE. I used it for a year or so and then I had to stop because I couldn't find it anywhere. I tried generic versions, but they did not work the same. After a couple years, I found it back on Amazon and it's the only supplement I will ever use for my PMLE. Of course, I still use my sunscreen when going outside for prolonged periods of time, but this has greatly improved my ability to go outside. All that being said, if you have tried this and it is not for you, that's fine, I just thought I should share my findings with the PMLE community as something that may be beneficial to you.

More nature print journal pages from the Art Journal Club students.

This week, students were asked to bring small objects that have meaning for them to create artwork with. We put the objects on Nature Print -photo sensitive paper. Exposure in the sun creates a "sun print". We talked about traditional photography and the magic of waiting for film to develop... something that's unheard of in the digital age. Once the paper was exposed, washed in a water bath, and laid out to dry, students pasted these photos in their journals and used a variety of materials to create works of art. Finally, I gave students to option of a short statement about their work. Some chose to do this and others did not. We couldn't have gotten luckier with the weather... sunny and not too windy!
