Phuwiangosaurus

Phuwiangosaurus — рід динозаврів-титанозаврів (Titanosauriformes) з ранньокрейдової формації Сао Кхуа в Таїланді. Типовий вид, P. sirindhornae, назвали і описали Валері Мартін (Valérie Martin), Ерік Буффето (Eric Buffetaut) і Варавудх Сутеторн (Varavudh Suteethorn) у прес-релізі в 1993 році і офіційно названий у 1994 р.

Classification: Dinosauria, Saurischia, Eusaurischia, Sauropodomorpha, Plateosauria, Massopoda, Sauropodiformes, Anchisauria, Sauropoda, Gravisauria, Eusauropoda, Neosauropoda, Macronaria, Titanosauriformes, Somphospondyli

Phuwiangosaurus was another sauropod, from the Sao Khua Formation of Thailand, dating back to the Barremian to Aptian ages of the early Cretaceous, sometime around 125 million years ago. It was probably not a titanosaur, though its phylogenetic position is rather uncertain, and it was a medium sized sauropod, only about 15-20 meters long. Its known from partial remains.
