Day 5 - Through the Snake's Lies
Apollo and Python
Artist: Joseph Mallord William Turner (English, 1775–1851)
Date: Exhibited 1811
Medium: Oil on canvas
Collection: Tate Britain, London, United Kingdom
I was a wizard in the middle of a war on Earth, and I brought my best friend back from the dead (he’s not dead in real life). Also, the wizard spells were structured like Python code.
Dr. Phyton and Mus
Mus is a lab mouse, used in all sorts of experiments, until one day he was assigned to assist dr. Phyton in her laboratory. Meanwhile, dr. Phyton is a mammal researcher who, despite her brilliance in the field, still suffers from social anxiety.
However there is a twist! Mus was actually sent to Phyton in order to become food, as his duties as lab mouse were completed. Will poor little Mus be dinner or will Phyton spare his life? Find out next time!

New things I’ve learned and done - Daily dev-log #03
Good morning ppl of the internet. I hope you all doing great!
Some minor progress on my game was made yesterday. I wanted to share great sources of knowledge I’ve discovered on my way.
Things I learned yesterday:
How to use “jump”, “labels” and a simple menu. I had some problems with that and then discovered that Phyton (or Renpy’s Phyton interpretation) is much different than C# in how important it is to stick to the proper formatting. Jump or menu is not working? Do you have it in the right row and rightly spaced?
This will work:
But this won’t:
Yeah yeah :) I know it’s basic, but HEY, I have to start from somewhere!
Anyway, let’s jump to tools and knowledge sources I’ve found:
I’ve also discovered pretty cool tools to brainstorm. Mostly with myself, but yeah.
If you didn’t try miro yet -it has a free version (which I’m using), and it’s a pretty slick tool for visualization of mechanics/brainstorming/anything, really.
I also started to use Trello, but probably everyone knows Trello, right?
Now tutorials/knowledge sources I found up to this point: - Renpy documentation [here]
- YT Tutorials: Zeil Learnings [here]
- YT Tutorials: Learning With B and E [here]
- YT Tutorials: Elaine [here]
Sadly some of those great ppl stopped publishing new videos, but their channels are still a significant source of knowledge.
- Renpy Reddit [here]
- Lemma Soft Forums [here] <- I can’t even describe how great a source of information this forum is.
That’s all for now - hit me up if you know a cool place I can find helpful tutorials and stuff :) Last but not least - I have to share my high polished new art for my game, right? Ok, jokes aside - I’ve added some more placeholder art to have something I can work with.
Take care friends!
The Age-Old Question Do You Need A Website
The most important and indispensable thing to assure your success in the webspace is your own website. The first step in any successful business is building a good, credible, and professional-looking website. Your website is the jump-off point of all your efforts. Therefore, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will attract your prospects and motivate them. You must first focus your efforts on building a website that will cater to what your prospects need. Above all else, make your website full of original, relevant, and useful content. The most important thing you should consider is that almost all web users go online to look for information, not necessarily to go and buy something. People will love articles that are appealing and helpful. Keep in mind that, on the internet, content is still king and good quality content will not only build your credibility, it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking. By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish yourself as a credible expert in the field. You must use every possible means on your website to motivate prospects to visit your site. When you are creating your website, the possibilities are endless and are limited only by your imagination, originality, resourcefulness, and resolve. You can always explore other ideas until you have a great website. Bluehost is one of the best companies to start:
