In honor of trump coming into office I've decided to make a new gender because I want to piss Republicans off
I made the flag myself and im calling it pictogender. Pictogender is a gender in which someone feels that their gender is best reflected through images/photos/or clips of film. They might have Pinterest boards or other art boards that describe their gender. This gender is a Nonbinary/Agender spec and falls under the Neurogender categories, but is not exclusive to Neurodivergent people.
Fuck trump and fuck the Republicans, I'm going to Pinterest.
pictogender: a gender that can only be described through imagery. a pictogender individual might only be able to describe their gender with icons, symbols, emojis, color gradients, or some other visual.
needed this for a request - definition from here (warning: mogaipedia link)! i was partially inspired by the visigender flag, which is a similar term that is neurodivergent-exclusive!
flag id: two flags with 8 stripes. in order, they are white, yellow, orange, red-pink, black, dark purple, blue, and light green. the left flag has a simplified representation of a polaroid photo in the center. it is made up of a white rectangle with a smaller black square inside of it, with the square being closer to the top of the rectangle than the bottom. end id.
hiya ! do you know if there is an identity in which you feel that your gender can not be defined or explained in words, but is definitely there? the closest i can find is cryptogender or xenogender, but i didnt know if a better word existed. please dont feel obligated to answer, i just thought maybe you or ur followers would know >w< thank you !
aside from cryptogender (Gendercryptic / Cryptogender: A gender one cannot discern, describe or define in human words because one is puzzled by it. It feels like it is and it isn’t there without following any particular pattern, sometimes even at the same time.), here’s some others that might fit:
Genderinimicus: A gender that cannot be fully understood because of some mental block that causes feelings of anxiety, panic, or distress when it is “observed”.
Nebbiagender: A neurogender term describing the experience of not knowing/understanding your gender identity due to fatigue, brain fog, or dissociation. Can be feminine, masculine, or androgyne aligned (ex. nebbiagirl, nebbiaboy, nebbiaenby etc).
Ineffigender: A gender that is too great or extreme to be expressed or described in words, this can be used as by itself or in combination with the closest term available. Examples of this would be Ineffiboy, Ineffigirl, ineffinonbinary, etc.
Pictogender: A gender that can only be described through imagery, e.g. icons, symbols, emojis, colour gradients etc.
Visigender: A gender that is best described using images, visual aides etc., as you are unable to put it into words due to neurodivergence. For neurodivergent people only.
Mazeplexgender: A gender identity best described as a dense forest or maze which is easy to get lost in, and is hard to navigate through or pinpoint a specific location or gender. It may be unknown to the person if it’s even possible to navigate through this forest or maze to find any answers. Derived from the words maze and perplex.
Esogender: A gender that you can understand within your own internal consciousness or headspace, but can’t communicate externally without some parts being “lost in translation”, omitted, changed or otherwise different from the actual gender you feel (similar to the loss in quality when converting image files). This can make expressing the details of the gender externally feel difficult, frustrating, or pointless to some.
Various gender terms with no known flags (part 29)
Parougender: Someone whose gender is closely related to the way they present themself. Can be combined with relevant genders.
Passengender: A gender that goes where it chooses. This gender is always going somewhere on its own drive and it may be affected by your surroundings, but you can't really control where it’s going (you're like a passenger).
Pictogender: A gender that can only be described through imagery. A pictogender individual might only be able to describe their gender with icons, symbols, emojis, color gradients, or some other visual.
Pixiegender: Based off of pixelgender; feeling a small amount of a certain gender and being related to magic.
Pixogender: A very neutral gender specifically relating to identifications with virtual worlds.
Coined from the term pixel. Created with tech/machine kin in mind but anyone can use it.
Plugender: “Plu” meaning “more” (as in ‘plural gender’ or 'plus gender’); may be used to describe those who have multiple genders, or who sees their gender as being one multifaceted thing, possibly comprising multiple genders into one.
See also: Augender.
Pluripotentgender: A gender that eventually becomes another gender permanently.
[Full list of terms are in the google docs if you don’t want to wait for the next posts]

If any of you know if there’s flags for any of these already, please send a link to it so we can add it to the gallery! And if you know who coined it so we can properly credit them (and that includes if it was anonymously posted or the blog deactivated).
Term Definition: Pictogender is a gender in which someone feels their their gender is best reflected through images/photos/or clips of film. They might have Pinterest boards or other art boards that describe their gender.
Info/Categories: This gender is a Nonbinary/Agender spec and is common amongst neurodivergent people, although not exclusive.
Slang: Someone who is Pictogender/identifies with Pictogender could also go by "picto", "pic", or "picgen". These terms are just what I came up with, but other interpretations are completely allowed!
Subcategories: Pictogender is a spectrum, and some people may also feel as if they are connected to another gender (or none at all). The associated prefix can be attached to any slang/Pictogender to differentiate.
These are similar to being demiboy/demigirl, since there is a connection between more than one gender. Each of these sub genders also have corresponding flags (which are all attached below), these flags are free use, and alternatives, interpretations, and entirely new flags are welcomed! Since this gender is all about images, everyone is encouraged to "make their own flag" (although having some semblance of the original design is appreciated).
The original and default Pictogender flag
Black - For being outside the "norm"/identifying with things not necessarily linked to gender
White - For people who are connected with any other genders/exist only within this gender space
White spikes represent people who might fluctuate between varying degrees of connection to this term, or to any gender that might be connected.
Gray - For people who might not feel safe/comfortable using this label publicly, but have some form of connection to it within
emoticongender: a gender that is best described by an emoticon. this doesn’t mean that your gender is an emoticon, simply that it is best communicated via an emoticon. the prefix ‘emoticon’ may be replaced by the emoticon itself, such as ‘owogender’ or ‘>:)gender’. a subset of visigender/pictogender, and related to emojigender.
my own version of the emoticongender flag! i wanted it to be more distinct from the emojigender flag, rather than just the emojigender flag without the symbol in the center. i switched out the yellow and blue middle stripe for a black and grey one, to represent how emoticons are typed out rather than images like emojis.
Have you ever heard of xenogenders based on simple shapes, like a triangle or square? (other than orbgender)
the only one i know of that’s close is Pictogender: A gender that can only be described through imagery, e.g. icons, symbols, emojis, colour gradients etc., or Visigender: A gender that is best described using images, visual aides etc., as you are unable to put it into words due to neurodivergence. For neurodivergent people only.
