Procol Harum - "Pilgrims Progress" From the album A Salty Dog (June 1969)
Last song scrobbled from iTunes at Last.fm
Man, this album would be so up Tumblr people's alley, if Tumblr and its supporting technologies had existed in 1969, or if we just took Tumblr (&IETs) and threw them inside a time machine bound for late '69. Salty Dog, clever and arty and cult and sarcastic, would be like fuckin' Goncharov, Christmas season '69, swear to God.

“Go then, my little Book… Tell them of Mercy; she is one Who early hath her pilgrimage begun. Yea, let young damsels learn of her to prize The word which is to come, and so be wise; For little tripping maids may follow God Along the ways which saintly feet have trod.”
I don’t see how you can write and act such splendid things, Jo. You’re a regular Shakespeare!” exclaimed Beth, who firmly believed that her sisters were gifted with wonderful genius in all things. “Not quite,” replied Jo modestly. “I do think The Witches Curse, an Operatic Tragedy is rather a nice thing, but I’d like to try Macbeth, if we only had a trapdoor for Banquo. I always wanted to do the killing part. ‘Is that a dagger that I see before me?”
The dim, dusty room, with the busts staring down from the tall book cases, the cosy chairs, the globes, and best of all, the wilderness of books, in which she could wander where she liked, made the library a region of bliss to [Jo]…As sure as she had reached the heart of the story, the sweetest verse of the song, or the most perilous adventure of her traveller, a shrill voice called, ‘Josy-phine! Josy-phine!’ and she had to leave her paradise to wind yarn, wash the poodle, or read Belsham’s essays, by the hour together.
“The minute her (Aunt March) cap began to bob, like a top-heavy dahlia, I whipped the Vicar of Wakefield out of my pocket, and read away, with one eye on him, and one on aunt. I’d just got to where they all tumbled into the water, when I forgot, and laughed out loud.”

Calm the storms that drench my eyes And dry the streams still flowing Casting down all waves of sin And guilt that overthrow me

I think that monster munch should do a very in poor taste like seasonal name changing thing. Idk what season it should be for. But I went to the John Bunyan museum today, and Pickled Bunyan is the best thing ever and so now I think monster munch should have terrible horrible Christian literature themed names for a time. Flamin hot could just be dantes inferno idk. I've not thought this far honestly. But pickled Bunyan is the best.
