Transformation Tuesday Freshman Edition!

Boy have the years passed fast. Some things completely different, some pretty much the same...
Snapchat selfie from when I was really tired at a wedding about two weeks ago. Traveled 10 hours away from my college town for it. It was a nice break seeing family up north again and experiencing the north in the cold seasons. Haven't for a very long time.

So about 4 years ago on this day I took this selfie the "old fashioned" way via laptop webcam during vacationing with my family and boy I've never seen someone so pale and it did not help that I was wearing white eye makeup! Wow! And it was SUMMER and I was on a lake! If this is not enough proof that I almost physically can't tan, I have no idea what is... This was also the summer I first joined Tumblr when I was reading The Hunger Games (my very first fandom eeeee) and was reading one of the many Pretty Little Liar books over this vacation. I used to go out in the dark just my cousin and I to this sketchy building with tons of giant bugs around us just to get wifi to talk to y'all xD 😂😭

but I guess that makes sense cause I remember the first thing I posted about was St. Patrick's Day and some cheesy leprechaun gif and then an audio clip of Toxic by Britney Spears... :)

Current photography piece that I am turning in for my AP Art class tomorrow. It's an edited combination of two photographs (one from December 2013, the other taken over the weekend, March 2014) to symbolize the battle between the want and need for nature/environment and the want and need for stuff/commercialism/chemicals within that stuff. So basically a natural vs. unnatural case and as they battle each other, they both kinda harm one another (especially unnatural to natural of course) and that's how our world is today. My AP Environmental Science (APES) class inspired this one. I also focused quite a lot on light, texture, and space and setting up the composition on this one.

My technically last childhood Christmas.
Taken a year and week ago on March 17th, 2013 during my first trip to Los Angeles. Spring Break is approaching in a day and it's making me think about the trip a lot and how I miss LA and that I could be moving there in as little as a few months. If not then, a few years. My hair might be a little bit different and even though those jeans were worn out and I have new ones now, I definitely don't have a new dream. That dream has never worn out and still hasn't after another year. In fact, it's grown stronger and in just a few months, I will finally be off to learn and pursue it. I still can't believe it but it's true.
And that's why this is one of the photos I put in my senior tribute because it reflects me and the things I love in so many different ways. [Including my sassy drama queen-ness as I acted out being a stereotypical director and/or just being dramatic... shows my acting side and the drama queen I've always been xD]
Look how much just a tint can change a photograph and it's mood...
Can't really figure out which one I like best.
