Learning how to weave using pin looms has been very fun and frustrating all at the same time.

Can't wait until I can get some different size and shape ones. Currently only have a zoom loom and a 2 inch pin loom I ordered off etsy years ago. Saving up for yarn for a massive gengar blanket.

I bought the weave-it rug loom on eBay a few years ago. It wasn’t in perfect condition, if you look closely you’ll see I’ve had to replace some of the pegs. It takes about 12 feet of cord to make a single square.

I'm still deep in the pin loom weaving. It's one of these bite sized projects that you can fit in almost anywhere, anytime, and be done with a small square and feel that kick of finishing something. It's also a great way to use up that tiny little bit of left over yarn that just isn't enough to do anything reasonable with. I do one or two of these a day ish. We'll see when I feel like I have enough squares to do do anything with. Maybe a lap blanket? Maybe a nice and warm skirt? Maybe a scarf? Or a jacket? The sky's the limit. And the end product isn't the goal. The journey is. At the same time I weave in memories into the fabric. 'This yarn is leftover from this project, oh remember when I worked on that, it was...'
