I'm honestly surprised there aren't more indie games trying to recapture the vibe of pipeworks' Godzilla trilogy and War of the Monsters. Like I can see how that would be a big thing to invest in but I think there'd be enough interest to get the ball rolling, y'know

Pipeworks Ninja vs. Unicorn Double IPA (Picked up at a Utah State Liquor Store). A 4 of 4. Lots of orange citrus and pine in a surprisingly lighter body that has a ton of bitterness to it. Some tropical and fruity sweetness in the body balances, and this is relatively high carbonation, so a bit prickly on the palate.

“Megalon is the god to the Seatopians, and he was their way to take revenge on the humans who were damaging their world with nuclear tests. Gigan arrived and he and Megalon double-teamed Jet Jaguar. Eventually, Godzilla arrived and joined forces with Jet Jaguar against Gigan and Megalon.

After a long battle, Gigan retreated back to outer space, leaving Megalon at the mercy of Godzilla and Jet Jaguar. The two monsters pummeled the helpless Megalon before he finally burrowed back to Seatopia, defeated.” ~Gojipedia

Atari: Let's get the Pipeworks Godzilla Trilogy back on the market!

I signed this a little while ago and it’s at almost 10,000 signatures and I’m the best kind of surprised.

The fanbase reputation for these games has always been horse shit, but they were crucial to my early entrance to the franchise, before I was able to track down all of the movies, find comprehensive information, and so forth. Coming into the fandom during the hiatus between the movies, I can’t understate the impact Unleashed’s exciting year of development had on me. I’ve logged in hours with Save the Earth and Unleashed that will always be part of the backbone of my kaiju experience.

So, whether remasters are ever released, it alone touches me to see so many signatures (in a reasonably short amount of time) supporting the re-release of a three games that I always felt kind of alone in my enjoyment of.
