Pisadeira is an evil spirit from Brazilian folklore. It appears as an emaciated woman with long fingers and dirty yellow nails. She is known for her terrifying, wide grin.

Pisadeira is said to step or sit on the stomachs of sleeping people, leaving them breathless when they wake in the morning.

The Pisadeira is a ghost found in Brazil. The Pisadeira is described as a very thin woman with a long nose and nails, red eyes, and if you look into her mouth you will see that the inside is green. The Pisadeira is said to emit a shrill and high pitched laugh when she is near. The Pisadeira is said to sneak into the room of a person who had a large meal which means they will usually be sleeping on their back. She will then sit on the victim’s chest and proceed to wake them up; they will then wake up and not be able to move and the Pisadeira will then slowly torture her victim until they die or she will leave but she will always come back even more terrifying.

When you do see the old hag, you’ll notice the fiery red eyes of the devil. Her yellow, claw-like nails look dirty but sharp.

Her fingers are long and so dry, parts of her skin flake off. She has the nose of a witch. Long and crooked. Her teeth are sharp and decaying, green and rotten but perfect for eating small children. Once you see her, she reacts with a loud cackle. Her scary laughter will keep you awake for days...

Pisadeira

Ela é uma criatura que vive pelos telhados das casas até encontrar pessoas dormindo que estejam vibrando na mesma frequência que ela, para que ela possa se alimentar de sua alma e, as vezes, até causar a sua morte.

Quem sobrevive ao seu ataque relata forte pressão nos pulmões e falta de ar, porque ela pisa no peito de suas vítimas enquanto se alimenta. Como na paralisia do sono, as pessoas também relatam não conseguirem se mexer.

Recomendo muito o podcast Não inviabilize (luz acessa), nele a Déia já contou algumas histórias sobre a Pisadeira e, em um dos episódios, ela explica o que ela sabe de acordo com o que sua avó contava.

Eu não conheci essa criatura pelo nome de Pisadeira, mas ouvi falar sobre o monstro que vinha a noite pisar na gente se dormíssemos de barriga cheia e, pelo que li, esse tipo de relato também é conhecido como sendo um ataque dela, que ficava andando nos telhados até encontrar uma casa que tivesse alguém dormindo de barriga cheia, então ela decia pelas paredes e subia na barriga da pessoa, que não conseguia se mexer, mas conseguia vê-la.
