Daily life
Been uneventful food-wise the last few days. My second attempt at the cheesy pasta bake lasted until tonight's supper. Bought sushi from Tesco in town this afternoon, their "large mixed sushi selection" is the largest supermarket sushi selection that contains no egg or milk and is absolutely yummy! I should really try some proper sushi from a restaurant some time, I've only ever had it from supermarket ready-to-eat sections... quite often it's all I can eat from there because it's otherwise all sandwiches with butter or mayonnaise in. Not complaining though, love sushi! While I was in town I picked up some Plamil egg free mayonnaise (essential for a tuna lover such as myself) and a "moo free" dairy free Easter egg... which I may or may not have eaten in one sitting... :P
my uncle ate a row of my plamil chocolate, that is not something you get in this country asdfghjkl
We're super-busy at the moment with new deliveries all the time. We now have creem eggs, Veggies hemp burger mix, Sweet Freedom & Choco Shot, Plamil chocolate orange spread, various Ombars, and we also have hazel nut tofu back in stock, as well as the very populat Razzle Dazzle Cocodough ice cream.
But what ou really want to know is that we now have Speculoos back in stock, smooth or crunch, which is it to be?
Vegan Chocolate (from the Organic Foods & Cafe haul)
"Dairy-Free" Milk Chocolate
This chocolate was really good. It tasted "milky" and sweet.
Highly recommended.
Carob Confection
Unfortunately, this bar only looked good. It was very bitter but I guess some people might like the taste of dark bitter chocolate with their morning coffee (though I'm not one of them).
On a side note, I really like the fact that Plamil's factories are powered by renewable energy. I will definitely be getting more of their products in the future. :)
it's by a company called plamil their website is pretty accessible but i couldn't find much on their website about how their products are obtained, only that they were certified organic, but i may have missed something/skimmed over it
I read through everything I could, and it says nothing about their palm oil on their site. I'm emailing them now - I'll post about it when I find out.
