I'm gonna keep it 💯 I only did this for 2 minutes 😂 but this was after a heavy push day AND 4 sets of ab crunches w/ the full stack. But as requested, here you go 🖤

Day 13 of 34!!
Sleepy day off 💤 long walk while talking to my best friend on the phone, worked out with my hair in these tiny silly pigtails and then the rest of the day has just been reading and chilling out with my housemate while she makes these incredible BUFF BEAR BREADS!!!! 🐻 💕 I want to marry this bread it’s the best thing I’ve seen in weeks ☺️
Check in on how the challenge is going so far- I’m sticking to my goals pretty well!! I haven’t been able to run since Tuesday because of pain in my knees and had to reign in my workouts a little too, but I’m ticking off everything every day 💪 The daily reading and Duolingo practice is lovely, and not buying lunch at work or drinking alcohol is saving me money and encouraging me to plan better. The plank challenge I’ve been following isn’t sitting too well with me to be honest, the moves aren’t my favourites and I find myself altering them or shortening the rounds to avoid moves I don’t like. I’m going to keep it up anyway though just to try it!
The daily posts have honestly been my favourite part of the challenge, it’s really making me appreciate thinking about my day and taking more pictures that I’ll be able to look back on, and I’ve really missed all of you guys!!
Lots of love to all of you who encourage and inspire me, you make me feel stronger and happier every day!! 🥰🥰
I've lost a total of 2.4 lbs since turning 30 (yay!). My goal is to increase my workouts and better my eating this month and lose 10 lbs in March. It's a lofty goal, but one that I think I can really achieve if I focus.
Just finished an hour-long virtual barre class that kicked my ass, and then did my March workout challenge of 1 min forearm plank and 15 seconds each side plank. Currently trying to decide what to do for a late dinner and convince myself to go to work in the morning....
Breakfast: cheerios with vanilla almond milk Snack: cheese stick and black tea with sugar Lunch: tomato soup Dinner: Vegetarian chili Water: so far 56oz. Workout: 60 minutes barre 60 second forearm plank 30 second side plank
Day 16: Cold Showers
I am more mentally tried than physically tried. Which I find to be the worst kind of tried. I really need a good sleep. Today was probably my worst day and I know tomorrow will be better because I get to sleep in.
Today I failed a lot so early. I was not mentally prepare for my routine.
Uncompleted 2 min plank. ✅
Crappie Pull ups. ✅
Not my best run.✅
Although all this happened I made myself do this.
I already knew my run would not be the best, so I allow myself to walk part of it. Then played songs that gave me the power to think differently about today. It looks nice, but it windy and I run towards the wind like a dumby. The wind is worst than the damn cold shower. This gif is me trying to run. My legs are a little sore.
I stopped doing my plank at 1:50 minutes for some reason and redid my plank after my run for the full 2 minutes.
My pull ups suck time to time so I did a good stretch then did them again, it was better.
I pushed myself to do more than 30 push ups.
As for my cold shower, well it was still cold and my heart rate is steady. Same thing different day. Wish it will help me be less tried and sore.
Some days are good, bad, then awful, but as long as you try that an win already. I was not looking for a win, I was encouraging my built up wall to move down a bit. Today after work, if I can convince myself, I won't go on a walk. I'll go home and lay in my bed which I rarely do. I made a rule for myself being in my bedroom is only for sleeping. Which is harsh, but it helps me be more productive. Today I'm exhausted and need it. We all have those days and need the rest. Like I'm over here falling asleep on my zoom call while someone talking to me. It only me and the other person lmao. Our camera and mic is always on so I'm over here struggling. So rest it is.
You should not have an excuse to not get what important for yourself done. We have so many minutes in the day to take advantage of. But it also important to realize your body needs and to listen to it. Don't push yourself far enough to the point of damaging. In other words, certain things have a limit.
”How to Plank Exercise – Tone and Flatten Your Tummy With Plank.” If you watch your diet and participate in regular physical activities and want to have a toned and flat tummy what exercise should you add to make that happen?
Can you guess what type of exercise you need to make that happen for you? The answer is the plank. If you watch your diet, planking will almost guarantee you a flat stomach.
Planks are generally regarded as the best exercise you can do for your body. It is convenient to do since you can do it practically anywhere.
You don’t need any special equipment and you can always make it more challenging by holding your plank for longer. But the most critical benefit of planks is that it engages all your major muscle groups.
My little Zuzu wanted to join the plank challenge 💖

Crank it up...
Tried out a mile in the hoka Clifton 6s. It felt fairly good.
I’ve started trying to do 100 push-ups, squats, and crunches a day. Then a total of 3 minutes of planking. Yesterday was my first day and I got it all done. Maybe It’ll keep me motivated to keep moving. Can’t hurt to try it out for 30 days.
Still having trouble staying motivated to train. I don’t think I’ll even be able to do my half Ironman in June cause now our class dates for my chiro class have moved to that weekend for our last module if we can’t meet in May.
Granted it doesn’t sound like races are even gonna happen this summer. So who even knows.
