Braius Doomseed starting a bidding war for himself between Asmodeus and The Platinum Dragon
Garen, a craftsman who spent his life building cities and structures across Exandria, was the perfect manifestation of the Allhammer, the god of craft, creation, and legacy.
And Erro, a wanderer who had lost faith but by the end decided to not just protect people, but inspire them to rise up against their oppressors, was just as poetic as the Platinum Dragon. The god of justice himself, who stands for the downtrodden (just recently in the VM short stories we saw Vord taking in Kima with compassion as part of his tenets), telling a crowd, "Seven overlords or 1200 of us" and helping them free themselves from tyranny.

My favourite dragon from Dragonvale... The Platinum Dragon!!!
I really underestimated just how complicated this design is to replicate on paper! Specifically, the wings and all the metallic speckles they have which, much to my chagrin, I had to simplify to solid cold silver... Trust me, those wings were erased and redone so, so many times, the paper was starting to get crinkled!
But hey! Maybe something to take another crack at when I leave pen, pencil and paper for digital art... When I do that. Eventually.
Still, it was a lot of fun to try and change the look of the dragon in all sorts of minor departments (mainly being the curled in tail and the addition of the furthest hind leg). Tell you what, though, the eye was the scariest bit! Circles and permanent ink make for a very scary combo!! Doing all the speckles on the purple scales was also pretty fun, though!
And, of course, here is the original ref pic!
The Platinum Dragon believes in committing to a bit. Erro spent so much time with Gare and never once let him know his true identity
Shield of the Holy Crusader
Armor (shield), Rare (requires attunement by a Good-aligned spellcaster)
The perfect defense for the good-natured that provides new mechanics for a certain spell. The Shield of the Holy Crusader is a shield with a polished platinum surface decorated with an array of colorful gemstones and gold patterns. The center depicts a noble creature being bathed in divine light as it receives the blessing of Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon.

some designs for a shapeshifting dragon deity in one of my campaigns :D had a lot of fun with this one!!
his name is axiom, but he often takes up the guise of both bahamut and the night lord. little of his true identity is known.
it meant a lot to be able to design this dragon deity for this campaign because the character I play has some associations and opinions on both of the guises of axiom :D best reveal ever.
